Feature Requests

I shouldn't have to create a task, apply a template, edit the task, then save the template. I should be able to edit the template directly in the template centre, then close the template centre when finished.

From Support: It would be nice if edits to our Views applied to previous versions. This would prevent us from needing to update hundreds of Templates manually in a larger organization.

Lets say I've created a template and implemented it into several projects. A new task/sub-task needs to be added. Can it parametrically update all of the projects that used the master template? The projects would only have to reload in order to get the new update.

The ability to apply a list template via automation. e.g. a "project" (task) is created in a projects overview list. The automation would then apply a list template for that project. Being able to also use the "project" (task) name as the list name automatically would great.

In the "Save a New Task Template" window, could you add a "Deselect All" option under "Customize Import Items" for easier selection management? Please refer to the attached image for reference.

Each "list" (project) in my organization have a "list owner" (project manager) assigned and there are many project tasks that are defaulted to this role. I've setup with a placeholder project manager but this needs to be overridden for each project once the project manager has been assigned. Making the "list owner" as an option for a task assignee would ensure such tasks are always with the project manager (even if the project manager changes throughout the project).

Ability to save forms as templates at the space level so that we can simplify and streamline the process of requesting communications materials for internal staff. We primarily use ClickUp to manage all internal comms requests so, while I appreciate the new forms feature, I think relying on each member of the staff to create a form correctly is a bit too ambitious. But I don't want to be tasked with creating several different forms and then emailing them the link because I often don't know what they're working on and what their needs are until they've created a prioject/list in ClickUp using a saved template.

Allow users to have control over templates that they've created so that if a template is overridden it can still be accessed.

Some checklists have an absolute recurring usage. For those, setting them as favorite would enhance UX dramatically.
