I like using the shortcut R or T to add reminders and tasks to quickly capture items. I like to offload the idea as a brain dump first, then decide whether it needs to be a task or reminder or something else. I realized that if I began typing text, say in Reminder first, then change my mind and want to switch entry type to a Task, my original text is lost. I have to start over from scratch. Can the info I already filled out in one place be kept when I switch to other types/modalities? At least, the task/reminder/doc name can be retained consistently. I'd also like the date and anything else relevant between types to carry over.
