Yes, I've just come back to Clickup after seeing the huge number of improvements but am gutted that this feature isn't available. I have 20+ lists as i'm setting up my system and i cannot believe that i have to manually update tasks, views and lists every time i change the template. This should be a no-brainer feature, right?

Update on this one, I think this should be a standard

I’d love an automation that, when a status is updated (like ‘HIRED’), automatically creates a new list from a template in another space or folder, assigns tasks, and sets permissions. This would make onboarding and cross-functional workflows much more efficient!

Apply templates to existing folders, lists, tasks

Right now the only way to use a template is to create a new folder/list/task and then move the information from the old one to the new. It would be nice to be able to simply "apply" the template to the existing folder.
For example we created a new folder template for our client space and now instead of being able to apply it we have to create a new one and move all the information we have over. Which is slowing down our new folder launch.

Need this as a soultion ASAP to make use of Clickup for our recurring project management processes.

We need this like YESETERDAY! It would make organization more streamlined!

Yes, yes, yes! This would be so helpful.

YALL - USE CASE SOLUTION I JUST DISCOVERED!!!
If you need to apply a template to an existing list to copy over view configuration such as custom field order (my specific use case) - do this:
- Go to your template view.
- Click 3 dots ON THE VIEW in the list (not the list in the side bar)
- Click Template - Save as Template
- Go to Existing List that you want to copy to
- CREATE NEW VIEW (in the template style such as list, table etc)
- Right Click View -> Customize View -> Template -> Apply Template
- Find your VIEW template in list and apply
Still needs to be repeated for multiple views, BUT at least you don't need to show and order custom fields manually.

This is an imperative feature. I have 100's of lists. When I create a new configuration or system, I need to update ALL the lists to show certain views etc. Doing this manually is brutal. Not sure how this was overlooked this long.
