Feature Requests

I'm honestly surprised that with all of ClickUp's awesome features, you seem to have forgotten a very basic one. Namely, every page should be fully navigable with the keyboard only. That is, I should be able to use the tab (and shift+tab to go backwards), arrow, and enter keys to select anything and everything without touching the mouse at all. No offence, but it's a basic accessibility feature. Mice (even vertical/ergo mice) are difficult or painful for many people (myself included) to use for extended periods. Also, visually impaired people rely heavily on screen readers and keyboard navigation to find their way around web pages. Given that you want your customers to spend most of their workday in ClickUp, full keyboard navigation is essential (not just for your own business purposes but also for basic human rights). Thanks!

In most othter programs ctrl+shift+arrow makes you select text word by word (not caracter by caracter), and that is very incorporated in my way of working (and probably many others too) '. In Clickup how ever, when editing a description, ctrl+shift+arrow results in shifting between tasks. That is very annoying. Pls. find another way to shift between tasks.

On a PC this is a standard shortcut that allows you to convert highlighted text to uppercase. (For Renaming a task and Docs.)

I'd like to be able to edit shortcuts, or turn them off individually. Or this one shortcut could be edited universally. I use Ctrl-shift-Left/Right to select text. In shortcuts, that shortcut now means, "switching between ClickUp tasks". So now selecting text quickly from the keyboard is either not an option, or, I turn off all shortcuts. Can that shortcut get changed universally? Or can I edit them individually? Or can I turn off that one specifically? Thanks for your attention.

As in other tools I would really like to have a shortcut to copy the task/list/view link directly to your clipboard with a keyboard shortcut. Usually ⌘ + L is used for copying url's (same as default browser behavior).

I would really like to be able to change the key from / to \ (or another custom key). / usually means "or" when typing out some form of list in a normal line of text - e.g., apples / bananas / oranges. So every time you press it, the slash command modal pops up. Whereas \ is rarely used in text. This was asked previously ( https://feedback.clickup.com/feature-requests/p/change-slash-command-from-to ) but was closed.

It'd be good to have more robust keyboard shortcuts, so it's easier to navigate and get around in the main windows, as well as within tasks and subtasks. For instance: Going straight to comments section from within a task/subtask Going back to main task when in a subtask Tabbing through sections of a task Quick complete task Move to next status, previous status in a task These are just a few, to make it less trackpad/mouse-heavy!

A shortcut to duplicate what is selected, would have to be different shortcut for what is in the sidebar and what is in the main window.

It would be great if the signature was also available in "commands (/)". This way we could use it in documents, for example when writing a contract.
