Feature Requests

It would be really helpful to have folders for clips to keep them organized! Especially for organizing SOPS + stuff

I was hoping to replace my Loom subscription with Clips but it honestly sucks all around. Audio never records- None of my clips have audio even though I test to make sure it is connected and working beforehand. This obviously makes it completely unusable not being able to record your voice. No idea which screen it is going to record- With loom, or zoom or other video type software you get a clear indication, and a choice of what screen, tab etc is going to be recorded. Clickup Clips does no such thing. Depending on what screen I use using last, or which screen the app is in will determine what screen gets recorded. I have recorded multiple videos only to find that the entire wrong screen was being recorded the whole time. Complete joke. Overall this is a great idea, however the execution is so poor the product is unusable. The "one app for everything" still has me using a ton of other apps because they can't get it right. Beyond frustrated with how poor clips is.

Ability to enable/disable Clips based on user roles, rather than all or nothing at the Workspace level. Since ClickUp may be used for external guests, this would allow customers to meet the security needs of their own clients more flexibly.

We like to use AI notetaker like Fathom to be integrated directly in Google Meets. With the new Clip feature and AI transcription, this would make an even better solution if all the meetings are directly in Clickup. Screen recording isn't a great solution as the AI doesn't recognize the different speakers.

Hello ClickUp team! Clips has a ton of potential, but my organization simply cannot adopt it without some of the key features provided by Loom, or even Zoom Clips. Most notably, without the ability to edit Clips, it's just not a viable productivity-enhancing tool. Please provide editing features so that we can take a look at adopting it long-term. Thanks!

Get the embed code of a Clip video so that I can embed the video alone (not the task) somewhere else.

[From Support ticket]: Customer has been using the Chrome extension for screenshots but would like the ability to record using Clip.

It would be great to be able to have our webcam show in clips. It says "Replaces Loom" in the ClickApps library, but without the ability to show a webcam also, I don't think it's quite there. Much more personal with a head in a circle! 👍

Love the new clips feature - and the pop-up when done. I always want to be able to rename the clip to describe what it is when I send it to someone else. Want to be able to quickly rename the clip on the pop-up that appears when a clip finishes. Want to be able to quickly rename the clip on the clip view screen. Currently I have to go to the All Clips page to be able to rename, which is rather annoying to have to do the extra clicks, so then I just don't bother renaming and then all of my clips are a mess.

Now that we have the amazing Clip library, it'd be great the ability to batch-delete old clips!
