Hi! It would be great if when we're starting a new recording (where we define the audio source etc.) we could also give a name to the recording. This will help recognizing recording faster

Hello ClickUp team! Clips has a ton of potential, but my organization simply cannot adopt it without some of the key features provided by Loom, or even Zoom Clips. Most notably, without the ability to edit Clips, it's just not a viable productivity-enhancing tool. Please provide editing features so that we can take a look at adopting it long-term. Thanks!

The only points that, frankly, still hold me back from switching from Loom completely to Clickup Clips are: Import recent videos after Clickup. Just so as not to lose my videos. It is precisely the relevant online course videos that we have integrated into interfaces for our customers. In general, the option to upload videos retrospectively to Clickup, just like with Loom. Sometimes you just want to upload it later or have to record or edit a video separately and then upload it for sharing, etc. Missing camera when shooting. Highlight clicks with the mouse in color with a yellow circle around it, etc., so that you can clearly see where you are currently clicking on it. Or, if necessary, options to add visual presenters in general, such as an arrow or a border. Even if that would be an additional “nice-to-have” and in Loom, there is only a yellow circle around every click with the mouse that you can quickly see where people are clicking on in recordings. I would say the rest is already very much interested in the benefits of ClickUp. Of course, the URL is still extremely ugly and long when you share it, but that is a beauty feature that I could ignore. And the advantage that ClickUp then has the full context of everything. In my opinion, notetakers for video calls and then also the short videos, etc. are a huge added value. And right now that Loom also wants to raise prices significantly from $12 to $20, I'm really looking at what better alternatives there are and ClickUp is of course a first choice. I just don't want to lose my previous Loom videos. Especially the 100-200 that are up to date and are involved in SOPs or online courses.

It would be really helpful to have folders for clips to keep them organized! Especially for organizing SOPS + stuff

I want to rename my clip from the little preview in the bottom left that appears immediately after creating it. Or have a quick action there to easily view all clips. Hey everyone! Today, Clips are shared publicly through an unguessable URL and don’t require the viewer to be logged in. While this is standard for many platforms, we understand it may not meet all expectations. Making Clips URLs require Workspace authentication is not currently supported, but we’re actively tracking interest in this post. Workspace owners and admins can enable or disable Clips at any time using the Clips ClickApp . It would be great to be able to have our webcam show in clips. It says "Replaces Loom" in the ClickApps library, but without the ability to show a webcam also, I don't think it's quite there. Much more personal with a head in a circle! 👍

I'd love to be able to save my Click Up Clips as an MP4 file, rather than only be able to access them as a web-based file format. Reason: I'd like to be able to use my Clips to create how-to training docs for my team and freelancers. But I've been told the Clip URLs only last 30 days, which means they can't be used to create long-term videos.

Add the ability to create folders to organize clips. Use case: Training clips (I'd like to keep all training related clips in a single folder for easy access and reference) Tags can do too if folders is too hard.

Clips are an important feature of ClickUp that unfortunately are missign enough features that make it feel like an Alfa release, (not even a Beta), and give pause to the question ClickUp Poses in the attached photo. Clips have tremendous potential! So if some of these issues could be addressed it would be great. 1- Clips need to be editable 2- Clips need to be able to be assigned tags 3- Clips need to be able to be assigned departments (Or Custom Field...which I have a set of called Departments. (highly useful!) (Why ClickUp doesn't have (definable) Departments as a feature is a conversation worth having) 4- The Clips homepage(?) needs to have abilities for organizing. (By list, by custom fields, by task type.) 5- Ai summaries should be able to be pinned to the Comments section, and/or have their own section 6-Clips would be better for sharing if we could set a Thumbnail for the shared clip from either a frame from the clip itself, or by uploading an image. (Both. Not one or the other. Sharing of information is vital to teams success, and limiting it should be thwarted whenever possible. So both.) 7- Clips would be great with Chapters (generated by Ai.) 8- Editing clips would be great to have the ability to remove silence gaps with 1 click. 9- Loom has a feature that should you stuble while recording, let's you pause, playback, rewind and edit and then continue recording where you left off. (This is probably the last feature I'd consider adding. A great one, but editing alone should handle it and so it isn't truly necessary so much as it would be a quality of life improvement.) 10- The ability to add a company logo to the video, and position it where fit. (Should be set by management) 11- Create clips on the mobile app. (Loom offers this...) 12- Last but most certainly not least...Clips needs the ability to allow us to include our webcam in the clip, for talking head narration and to be able to position it and shape it as we choose, (Circle, square, etc...) AND the option to record just the webcam as a clip.
