Feature Requests

It would be very helpful to have a resources tab in each list, where you could upload external resources (google drive, attachments, etc) related to the list. This could be organized in folders so its easy to manage. The other options is that this could be a feature within the dashboard.

I am in a list. It has many tasks. Some of these tasks have attachments. I want to know if I'm able to view all the attachments in one place.

Dear ClickUp Team, I would like to express my gratitude for the recent update that allows tasks to be automatically created by simply dragging and dropping files. This feature significantly improves not just task management but also file management. However, I would like to propose an additional enhancement to further improve the user experience. It would be greatly beneficial if we could have the capability to download attachments in bulk from multiple selected tasks. Currently, the option to download attachments does not exist when multiple tasks are selected, necessitating the download of files individually, which can be time-consuming. Implementing this feature would undoubtedly enhance ClickUp's user experience, making it even more valuable to a broader audience. Furthermore, it would be highly convenient if these files could be compressed into a Zip file format during the download. This adjustment would simplify local file management for users, making the handling of files more seamless. In closing, I want to thank you for creating such an excellent product. At the moment there is no way I can recover any file that I delete from the attachments in any task. In the situation when you accidentally hit the delete button on any file there should be a way to recover that file from the trash.

As refugees from Basecamp 2, one feature that I've not seen in action in ClickUp that we'll miss is the ability to see all files for a given project in one place—and, indeed, all files across all projects https://2.basecamp-help.com/article/208-files I believe a good place to initiate this view would be would be a 4th view button to the right of BOARD. (Please excuse the crudity of this model.) Files for a given list, space, team would be viewable depending on what level a user is situated. Being able to click on these files and go to the discussion(s) in which they're attached would also be fantastic. Indeed, using search or looking for the attachment icon on tasks is simple enough, but viewing all the "things" and starting there is a really powerful way to get users to get their bearings, especially if you're coming into a project that's been going on for awhile. Hopefully, this isn't a duplicate request. I'll take my answer off the air.

It would be great to have a feature that you can move attachments from one task to another, especially a sub task. This allows us to better organize documents that belong a subtask to clear the "clutter" in the parent task.

Include the ability to view files in the .ifc extension (open source format) directly within the tasks. Currently it is only possible to attach and download the files in this extension. I would like it to be possible to view them in the same way that it is done with .pdf or .png formats, for example.

Is there any report or way we can see what spaces/lists or tasks have attachments over a certain size? As part of our housekeeping we want to look at removing any large files from ClickUp and move these to an internal server, DAM or cloud storage. Any feature, like GoogleDrive, that can show you what the largest files are and what tasks/spaces/lists they are attached to would be great. Thanks!

For whiteboard and for anywhere images are used it would be great to have Ai be able to remove backgrounds making for a much cleaner image implementation especially if switching between dark and light viewing modes. Unless we all think that a dark background with an image on a white background fits right in....

Hello there, I am a carpenter. When I am on a job doing an estimate for example, I want to break things down into sections, so for example I'd make a quick checklist within a task here on Clickup. I want to be able to attach photos to certain items in that checklist and currently I cannot. This is a pain.
