[from support] Would like the ability to create small folders for attachments within a task

When I try to add a .sql file to a task it won't let me and tells me I have a File Type error and that I can't upload a folder. This is a new problem within the last week (today is 10/14/25). I've used ClickUp for years and haven't encountered it before. Please repair the functionality.

At the moment there is no way I can recover any file that I delete from the attachments in any task. In the situation when you accidentally hit the delete button on any file there should be a way to recover that file from the trash.

Just like in youtube, or any other video/audio player, I would like to be able to PAUSE my video (let's say at 01:00) and then go to another time (02:00) and NOT AUTOPLAY. Just stay at 02:00. I was on pause at 01:00 and I'm still on pause at 02:00. Why ? I use comments on videos, and It's critical for me to communicate with my team and clients on specific moments of the video, read carefully what they said and look at the video. At this moment it's extremly difficult, the autoplay make it almost impossible to read and I have to click pause super fast : not convienient at all. And they ask me to use another platform, which would be a shame, because we love all the rest. What would be great for most video creators is the ability to navigate a video frame by frame while using the left and right arrow keboard keys.

Include the ability to view files in the .ifc extension (open source format) directly within the tasks. Currently it is only possible to attach and download the files in this extension. I would like it to be possible to view them in the same way that it is done with .pdf or .png formats, for example.

frame.io , Wipster and similar tools are great for proofing video, image and sound with clients. As most of our feedback and review process is already happening via ClickUp it would be awesome to have similar capabilities here. Capabilities: These tools allow for adding comments at specific timestamps in a video (frame accurate) by clicking on a specific point in the frame. They sync comments as markers to adobe premiere pro, so editors see client remarks right in their timeline.

We would need to have a custom field (similar like Files) which is able to display graphics, designs, images or videos in a grid (like a masonry grid) to showcase projects.

Would be nice to have file versioning on (task)attachments and option to compare the different versions. In our case: When working on tasks, we're uploading files to receive feedback from our team. After which a new file is uploaded with all changes (v2.0).

Is there any report or way we can see what spaces/lists or tasks have attachments over a certain size? As part of our housekeeping we want to look at removing any large files from ClickUp and move these to an internal server, DAM or cloud storage. Any feature, like GoogleDrive, that can show you what the largest files are and what tasks/spaces/lists they are attached to would be great. Thanks!

We've been using the proofing feature since it's come out, and love how easy it is to use. I mentioned in another post some visual glitches, but otherwise it's been really great to use. After spending more time working with it though, after revisions are made to the PDF, there isn't a way to update it with a new file. We have to attach a new one which becomes confusing to maintain a bunch of version within the task. So, we've been deleting them—but that also remove the comments attached to the PDF and now we've lost all history of task revision history. Simply put, we need a way to replace an attachment with a new version and have the comment history remain intact. That's an immediate need. This can be taken even further with having a "version history" of each attachment and having comment bound to the "versions." But I recognize that's a much bigger ask and will take more time. So, I'd like to request specifically the "replace file" feature as a short-term/immediate solution and the other as an eventual feature (when you get around to it—not pressing).
