Hi, I reccomend adding the direct link between time entry and task, so user can click and open task directly from time entry. Also IMPORTANT is to have time entry description added to task history. THX! Maciej

In the CSV export of the Time Tracked reporting view, the time fields are exported in text format ("3h 50m"). To make calculations in Excel it would be an improvement if the field would be a numerical value (e.g. 90) with the number format being minutes or hours alternatively. Maybe as an additional field to not break the current fields.

In everyday work there is a lot of actions which are dynamic, like picking up phone and having long discussion. We have implemented kind of 'generic' tasks to gather such activities, which sometimes are so useful that I would like to create a task based on this activity and of course assign this time entry to this new task/subtask. While it is possible now select existing task, I cannot find an option to create new one.

From support ticket: It would be great if the times that are available for selection when setting start/due dates would start with commonly used business hours instead of 12am.

What do you think about implementing a customizable Pomodoro-like timer?

I am much more productive when using a countdown timer because it gives me a sense of urgency to complete my current task before time is up. When I get distracted, I see/hear the timer ticking and redirect my focus back to where it should be. I currently use a Mac app from the App Store along with stickies to accomplish an event countdown timer but would like to see this included as part of ClickUp. It would be a plus if this timer could also be a separate app that shows on top of all windows when my calendar is hidden. Playing ticking sounds or productive soundtracks like those found on brain.fm would also be very beneficial.

ClickUp has tremendous potential to displace not only other project management software, but business management & ERP more broadly. Currently, we use Bonsai and PandaDoc, but the lack of a visual forecasting system in PandaDoc has made the transition a bit more painful. That got me thinking that the implementation of something like Bonsai's "Income & Expenses" system, but for calculating hours worked within ClickUp, would be an awesome thing to combine in the dashboard with broader workloads. If you could see the amount of time worked vs. the amount billed, and see such in a global dashboard with your project tasks, it would help improve profitability while also boosting efficiency in task allocation & project management.
