ClickUp would be massively elevated by enabling users to create fully customizable AI chatbots/agents that can be deployed for a wide range of business needs—support, onboarding, training, project guidance, and more. The vision is to empower organizations to: • Define the Chatbot’s Personality & Scope: Allow admins to set a unique, overarching prompt or “script” for each chatbot, controlling its tone, knowledge boundaries (e.g., restrict to internal clickup docs only), and how strictly it follows instructions. This enables use cases from rigid, compliance-driven bots to open-ended, conversational assistants. • Conditional Routing & Multi-Step Logic: Enable chatbots to ask follow-up questions, branch conversations based on user responses, and route users down different paths depending on their needs or the information provided. This supports everything from troubleshooting and support ticket escalation, to interactive training modules or onboarding flows. • Use the same/similar UI as Brain Max for each custom chatbot/agent, it's beautiful :) • Action Automation & Escalation: Let chatbots trigger automations—such as creating tasks, assigning items, sending notifications, or escalating to a human—based on conversation outcomes or escalation clauses defined by the admin. For example, if a support bot can’t resolve an issue, it could auto-create a ticket and summarize the chat for the right team. Or, a training bot could assign a certification task after a successful knowledge check. • Multiple Use Cases, One Platform: Businesses could deploy different chatbots for different needs: • A support bot for clients that escalates unresolved issues. • A training bot that quizzes and guides new hires on specific software. • A project guidance bot that helps teams follow SOPs or best practices. • And many more, all with unique prompts, logic, and automation rules. The new BrainMax AI is a game-changer! I'm already seeing massive productivity gains from the current features, especially the excellent Speech-to-Text. Now, to truly unlock its potential and make ClickUp an essential tool for universal accessibility and speed reading, I propose adding a built-in Text-to-Speech (TTS) feature. ➡️ The Problem It Solves for Me (and Many Others): Constantly reading off a screen leads to significant eye strain and burnout. Furthermore, many users (myself included) absorb and retain information far better when combining listening and reading. Implementing TTS would transform reading long documents, task descriptions, and meeting notes from a chore into an effortless, engaging experience. It would allow for multitasking (listening while doing light tasks) and significantly increase information processing speed for a smoother, less fatiguing workday. ➡️ Proposed Implementation: TTS Everywhere with BrainMax ➡️ The goal is seamless integration that makes mundane tasks effortless: Global Activation: Just like the Speech-to-Text feature, TTS should be accessible anywhere on the computer (inside or outside ClickUp). Action: Simply highlight the text and either press a hotkey or right-click to select the "Read Aloud with BrainMax" option. Result: The text is instantly read in a natural, high-quality voice. ➡️ Essential Feature Considerations: To make this a truly best-in-class tool, please consider these options: Voice Variety: Allow users to choose from a range of high-quality, natural-sounding voices (similar to advanced tools like TrackGPT). Customizable Playback Speed: Essential for speed-readers and focused review. Provide options such as 0.75x, 1x, 1.25x, and 1.5x speed. Contextual AI Follow-Up: This is the BrainMax difference. Include a shortcut that, after reading, prompts BrainMax to answer questions about the text just read, leveraging the context of other information on the page (and the URL, if available). This turns a simple reading tool into a powerful AI-driven learning and analysis engine.
