Critical Korean Input (IME) Bugs and Typing Freezes in ClickUp Brain MAX
I am a user of ClickUp & Brain MAX. It seems the AI features are currently optimized mostly for English, leading to severe usability issues when typing in Korean. I have encountered two distinct bugs depending on the OS environment. Bug 1: Character Displacement and Cursor Jumping (Windows Only) Environment: Windows OS (Does NOT occur on macOS) Symptom: When typing in Korean inside ClickUp Brain MAX, the characters do not render correctly in real-time. The text gets delayed (misaligned), or the letters suddenly start typing in front of the cursor instead of following it. This makes it impossible to write continuous sentences properly. Bug 2: Typing Freezes on AI Suggestion Dropdown (Windows & macOS) Environment: Both Windows and macOS Symptom: While typing a sentence in Korean, ClickUp Brain MAX often triggers the inline recommendation/autocomplete dropdown below the text. The moment this recommendation box appears, the editor completely freezes, and it blocks any further keyboard input. I have to click away or escape to resume typing. Steps to Reproduce: Open ClickUp Brain MAX on Windows (or Mac for Bug 2). Switch the keyboard layout to Korean (IME) and start typing a prompt or content. Observe the lagging/jumping cursor (Windows), or wait for the AI suggestion box to pop up under the text (Both OS). Notice that input becomes glitched or completely locked. Urgent Feature Request: Korean is a widely used language among your global user base. Currently, these IME-related bugs make ClickUp Brain MAX almost unusable for Korean teams. Please prioritize fixing these composition/IME bugs and fully support the Korean language natively as soon as possible. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

Customizable AI Agents with Prompt Control, Conditional Logic, and Action Automation
ClickUp would be massively elevated by enabling users to create fully customizable AI chatbots/agents that can be deployed for a wide range of business needs—support, onboarding, training, project guidance, and more. The vision is to empower organizations to: • Define the Chatbot’s Personality & Scope: Allow admins to set a unique, overarching prompt or “script” for each chatbot, controlling its tone, knowledge boundaries (e.g., restrict to internal clickup docs only), and how strictly it follows instructions. This enables use cases from rigid, compliance-driven bots to open-ended, conversational assistants. • Conditional Routing & Multi-Step Logic: Enable chatbots to ask follow-up questions, branch conversations based on user responses, and route users down different paths depending on their needs or the information provided. This supports everything from troubleshooting and support ticket escalation, to interactive training modules or onboarding flows. • Use the same/similar UI as Brain Max for each custom chatbot/agent, it's beautiful :) • Action Automation & Escalation: Let chatbots trigger automations—such as creating tasks, assigning items, sending notifications, or escalating to a human—based on conversation outcomes or escalation clauses defined by the admin. For example, if a support bot can’t resolve an issue, it could auto-create a ticket and summarize the chat for the right team. Or, a training bot could assign a certification task after a successful knowledge check. • Multiple Use Cases, One Platform: Businesses could deploy different chatbots for different needs: • A support bot for clients that escalates unresolved issues. • A training bot that quizzes and guides new hires on specific software. • A project guidance bot that helps teams follow SOPs or best practices. • And many more, all with unique prompts, logic, and automation rules. This level of flexibility would make ClickUp the go-to platform for scalable, branded, and intelligent AI-driven workflows—empowering every business to automate, personalize, and streamline their operations in ways that fit their unique needs.
