When AI Notetaker captures meeting notes, there’s no way to automatically connect those notes to an existing ClickUp task that represents the same meeting — even when the meeting title, date/time, and attendees clearly match. Notes remain in a private Doc that only the note-taker can see, requiring manual sharing every time. What I would like ClickUp to do: Auto-match AI Notetaker notes to a related task based on shared criteria: meeting date/time, attendees, and/or meeting title keywords — and link the notes Doc to that task as a relationship or in the task description. Auto-share notes with all meeting attendees who are ClickUp workspace members — without requiring manual permission grants after every meeting. Expose AI Notetaker docs via API/MCP — specifically: • A trigger when a new AI Notetaker doc is created (for Agent/automation use) • A GET /doc/{id} that returns attendee metadata and meeting timestamp • A PATCH /task/{id}/relationships endpoint to link a Doc to a task • A DELETE /doc/{id} endpoint Why does this matter? Teams using ClickUp as their single source of truth create tasks for meetings. The AI Notetaker should close the loop — turning a meeting into a documented, shared, actionable record on the right task automatically — not create an isolated private doc that requires manual cleanup. Workaround today: None fully viable via API or automation.
