Hello, I am a ClickUp user and I greatly appreciate your platform for managing my documents and projects. However, I would like to suggest an improvement that could significantly facilitate navigation within documents. Feature Suggestion: When searching for a keyword in ClickUp, it would be very useful if the system not only indicated the titles of documents and pages where the word appears but also the exact location within the page. This would include the ability to navigate directly to each occurrence of the keyword in the document. Benefits: Improved efficiency in searching for specific information. Reduced time spent manually browsing documents to find all occurrences of a word. Better user experience, especially for long or complex documents. I believe this feature would be a valuable addition for many users who, like me, work with detailed documents and wish to optimize their workflow.

I would like to keep main tabs open, instead of jumping back and forth within one window

The search bar opens behind the open ClickUp task, it's hidden. Can we have it open over the task if I selected the search option after I open the task?

Allow search query to be directly appended to the account URL, like this: https://app.clickup.com/1234567/search?q=taskname To allow search straight from Browser address bar This will save time from having to go back to Clickup page and then do a search

create an attachment with text as content, so that I can search for that text in when using the global search function? Here it could be either a clickup doc or a a word document attached or whatever, but critical for me is that if I go to the global search in clickup I can search for the text inside this document.

Please give the ability to search by task ID

When having a full template list of many tasks. It is efficient to use the search bar to search for a task. In doing so, the search does not recognise the names of sub-tasks.

Add the option to filter by custom fields under previously filtered locations, or in general. Filter by tags Allow to save filters as favorites Filter by "Me Mode" under "People" to see every piece of work related to me. Add some relevant information to results, like: Time tracked, time estimates, Billable or not, Time in Status Type, Number of tasks found (total and by status type, priority, etc.)

There are already multiple threads on this but it seems that it is being ignored by developers. Search function is currently somehow useless. We need at least highlight of searched phrase in search results -> doc/page/task that result is pointing to. In case phrase occur multiple times then all occurencies should be highlihted/marked somehow, Another thing is partial search would be great also. Hope that someday we will see search workingg as expected.

When searching a list view, there is not functionality to search sub tasks. The current search only searches toplevel tasks.
