Hello, this last couple updates to the Notifications and now Task creation is absolutely horrendous. Why would you increase the number of clicks one needs to do for mundane tasks? Right now when I want to create a task I need to click Create task, then the 3 dots, then custom fields and only after that am I able to fill the custom fields. What logical reason would make you do this? Moreover, when the last Notification / Inbox update is even worse. I need to open the Notification, then click Details, then Expand and only then am I in the task view. Please for the love of god and everything thats holy stop adding unnecessary clicks for things that do NOT NEED them. Thank you.

This is a separate idea to Reminders for tasks. This is not about being reminded to do a task. This is an idea that, when you next open a task, you get reminded of what you were doing last time you were active on that task. E.g., you are working on a task and get to a certain place. You need to stop, but want to be reminded of what you were doing the next time you open it. You could create a message to yourself that pops-up when you open it. Yes, you could use the Task Description or Comments. But the trouble with these is you have to actively look for them. A reminder would pop-up and remind you without you having to remember to check it. It's similar to the feature you have on some phones where you get location-based reminders that pop up when you are somewhere. Instead, this is task-opening based reminders with a custom message to yourself.

In spite of being an emo, the dark mode is actually too dark right now. The old one was better, in my humble and emotive opinion. Thx

I can't see as much description and checklists on the task as I used to. This new layout is a negative development for me

When I make changes to which Subtask columns I want to see in Task View 3.0 it doesn't seem to save those changes. So if I make changes and close the task, the next time I open it up I have to readd the columns desired (for example time tracking, time estimated, etc.)

The Save button is not visible at the bottom when you add a manual entry AND click note/description while in full screen on a standard laptop. ALSO.... format on time tracked display (when task is open/expanded) is occasionally the wrong format (looks like a combo of milliseconds and HH:MM:SS)

Poor feature and design: very disappointing – SHOCKING – poor design and creativity. I have only just discovered ClickUp, it felt promising, but I am extremely disappointed. You have serious competition in the market and when some features are available in your competition such as “ Monday.com ”, and yet you decide not to implement them into Clickup, proves the lack of appreciation for being innovative, staying ahead of the competition and lack of common sense. Monday.com provides the below and far better than you, you provide the best free plan hence I discovered you and I am using you, but you are not competitive enough so when I start to pay for the service, at the moment it is Monday.com , no doubt, UNLESS you make the changes. Features and design issues Lack of 2 features and design, for now. The features are to make “new groups” for project planning by 1-click process and then simple 1-click to name the “new group” so we can create separate/organized project/tasks phases e.g. project initiation, business requirements, procurement, etc, you get the idea “hopefully”. The design element: show borders around the “new groups”, light grey round-edged, so the phases/new groups are comforting to the eye and allow one to comfortably understand the phases layout, look at Monday.com who provide these features and designs and they are far more slicker than but provide a limited free plan. This is the world of entrepreneurs for innovation so be brave and make changes. (Microsoft is not a new idea, it is a mixture of several ideas and then it came to life!) Probably your number 1 competitor “ Monday.com ” provides this and is the simplest, and one of the most important features to get the job done, it’s a winner when you have it. This should not even be mentioned by users and yet I am, it is a standard feature and extremely frustrating that you don’t provide this, what you provide is to statuses, and in a specific way otherwise it is even more work. Too many steps, very time-consuming, very deep learning curve just for a simple “new group”, shocking! I don’t want excuses, just make the changes and watch how you start overtaking the competition and leading. I am currently recommending Monday.com until this is resolved because I do believe ClickUp can be the best!

Hello! Recently there has been an update for dark mode. Previously the tags were vivid coloured but now they are pretty dark which is pretty bad for visibility and imagine it's especially challenging for those with vision problems. I would like to request to change the colour back to the previous vivid colours. Best regards.

Please make it possible to have tabs within the desktop browser (similar to a web browser). Wrike has that and it is essential for multitasking and efficiency. Having to completely click out of a task to go reference something else in ClickUp is a major inconvenience and time suck. My productivity has declined significantly since switching to ClickUp.

The ability to use your own fonts through uploading font files or selecting google fonts.
