Hide Icon from Mac menu bar
Prashan Dharmapala
I just updated to the latest version and was unpleasantly surprised find out that there's an app icon on the Mac menu bar that cannot be hidden.
While this is a valuable feature for a lot of users who requested this feature, it should be configurable so that users who don't it this on the menu bar can hide it. Now every time I have Clickup open (pretty much anytime that I'm working) I have the Clickup icon taking up valuable menu bar space.

Takes up space for more important menu items. Should be deactivatable, as with all other applications.

Please add a checkbox to toggle this thing. Shouldn't take more than a couple of hours for an intern.

Please let us remove this icon! Space is very limited on Macbooks with the notch on the screen (a whole problem in itself) and the fact that ClickUp doesn't allow us to customize and hide this icon is sad and annoying.

One especially annoying aspect of this feature is that when you're tracking time, the timer is included in the Mac menu bar. And since the time is constantly changing by the second, and some digits have different widths, the icon's width is constantly changing. Which makes every app to the left of it in the menu bar constantly move back and forth. This is the most annoying part for me.

My current workaround is to close the app, unfortunately it takes seconds to load, fortunately I don't have to use it often.

I love the app, but the menu bar icon is annoying. It forces me to close the app to hide it, which makes me use it less.

It's like an invasion of my personal space
