Hide Icon from Mac menu bar
Prashan Dharmapala
I just updated to the latest version and was unpleasantly surprised find out that there's an app icon on the Mac menu bar that cannot be hidden.
While this is a valuable feature for a lot of users who requested this feature, it should be configurable so that users who don't it this on the menu bar can hide it. Now every time I have Clickup open (pretty much anytime that I'm working) I have the Clickup icon taking up valuable menu bar space.

One especially annoying aspect of this feature is that when you're tracking time, the timer is included in the Mac menu bar. And since the time is constantly changing by the second, and some digits have different widths, the icon's width is constantly changing. Which makes every app to the left of it in the menu bar constantly move back and forth. This is the most annoying part for me.

My current workaround is to close the app, unfortunately it takes seconds to load, fortunately I don't have to use it often.

I love the app, but the menu bar icon is annoying. It forces me to close the app to hide it, which makes me use it less.

Luckily I use Bartender so can hide this unneeded icon. But just put a toggle in like the majority of other apps. I only have one other app who force this and theirs is even more useless, literally open and quit.

Is this still not updated?

Literally EVERY other app I have allows disabling the icon. Please come and join the rest of civilized humanity, ClickUp. First day and I'm this close to deleting my account
