Look at what Goodnotes have done, by far the best PDF annotation I have come across in a note taking app thus far - very seamless.
Get clickup like that and thats one less tool we need in our stack.

All these are GREAT suggestions....my company marks up ad proof using click up and WOULD LOVE a mark up tool similar to Adobe Acrobat where you can highlight specific text and comment on what that text needs to be changed to.

I have been wondering why ClickUp has not made any improvements to the proofing feature. It is too basic, with the only option being to leave comments. In addition to the features that Ivan mentioned, it would be very helpful for copywriters to have copy editing features, like are found in Word.

Merged in a post:
Enable editing/annotating of images added to task comments.

Today in ClickUp, we have a tool that allows us to add comments to the IMAGES included in the comments section. However, it does not allow us to create "annotations" similar to the native Windows snipping tool. It would be extremely useful to be able to draw arrows, circles, rectangles, text, etc. directly on the image to facilitate team communication. The current solution is to perform all the snipping outside of ClickUp and then add it, but the major issue arises when the need to mark something on the images arises during task creation. It forces us to go back and take a new screenshot to add the annotations. Being able to make these annotations on existing images would greatly accelerate the task creation process.

This would be an excellent addition
