Hello ClickUp Team, I’d like to suggest an improvement to the behavior of dropdown custom fields. Currently, when a dropdown field is added to multiple locations (folders/lists), all added options become globally available across every instance where that field is used. This can lead to confusion and clutter when different teams or workflows require different sets of values under the same field name. Feature Request: Please consider adding the ability to restrict dropdown options by location, allowing each folder or list to maintain its own unique set of options under the same dropdown custom field — or, alternatively, allow dropdown fields to have “scoped” options that can be toggled globally or locally. Benefits: Reduces the need to create multiple redundant custom fields for the same purpose. Improves organization and cleanliness of the workspace. Avoids user error by limiting irrelevant options in different workflows. Makes reports, views, and automations easier to manage and less error-prone.
