It would be great to use the AI Notetaker in the mobile app to turn on and off as needed to record in person meetings.

Agree, working on this solution, would be magic and would create solve a lot of worries...
Roger Spalding
Agree! It could be a different app too, like Granola, or something.

A solution that includes both speaker identification for hybrid meetings AND the ability to record one-to-ones using the mobile app would be HUGE. Please make this a priority in your dev program.

AI note taker for in-person (offline) meetings via microphone

Not just online meetings. Allow it to record & transcribe directly into ClickUp so that no other tools are needed.

It would really be important to have the ability to have an in person meeting note taker. most people in our team work in hybrid mode with many in person discussions and in teams. Teams is covered by the AI notetaker but in person we have to use Granola or Plaud, get the transcript copy and paste into a doc recreate the meeting. its clunky and never happens properly. it should all be in Clickup. There are lots of great tools now so shouldnt be hard to incorporate in clickup a simple voice recorder linked to meetings in calendar or started manually like we have screen recording but just voice.

This is always the first question when I talk about AI notetaker. “Can I use my phone app in a conversation?
Alex Lashkov
Searchie: yeah, I feel that! Not now though..

I agree, I would really love a way to activate AI Notetaker on my computer or mobile device to listen and take notes for in-person meetings. Or similar to how Zoom now records "notes" so it listens to meetings and my environment without actually having to be added to the call. I looked into clips to use voice clips to record meetings, but those have a 45 minute limit.

Danielle Leon: yeah we will be working on the no-bot joining calls mode soon. Research has been done to inform that development!
also, as a workaround now, I've heard some customers doing that - you can show up to an in-person meeting, launch Zoom/Meet/Teams, and send notetaker, and just talk in the room. It will be not at all ideal in terms of speaker recognition, but it will capture the context
