A solution that includes both speaker identification for hybrid meetings AND the ability to record one-to-ones using the mobile app would be HUGE. Please make this a priority in your dev program.

It would really be important to have the ability to have an in person meeting note taker. most people in our team work in hybrid mode with many in person discussions and in teams. Teams is covered by the AI notetaker but in person we have to use Granola or Plaud, get the transcript copy and paste into a doc recreate the meeting. its clunky and never happens properly. it should all be in Clickup. There are lots of great tools now so shouldnt be hard to incorporate in clickup a simple voice recorder linked to meetings in calendar or started manually like we have screen recording but just voice.

I agree, I would really love a way to activate AI Notetaker on my computer or mobile device to listen and take notes for in-person meetings. Or similar to how Zoom now records "notes" so it listens to meetings and my environment without actually having to be added to the call. I looked into clips to use voice clips to record meetings, but those have a 45 minute limit.

Fully supporting this request. I work as a project management consultant at a system integrator, and our meeting scenarios fall into three categories:

All remote via Teams → ClickUp AI Notetaker works well (though speaker identification is still missing)

Hybrid (some in-person, some on Teams) → we combine a Jabra speakerphone with the ClickUp Notetaker bot, but still no speaker labels

All in-person at client sites → we are forced to leave the ClickUp ecosystem entirely and use third-party tools like Fireflies.ai or Insta360 Wave

The real gap is that ClickUp has no native solution for in-person meetings. The ideal fix would be either:

A ClickUp mobile app recorder with speaker identification (diarization), or

A hardware partnership with a conference speakerphone manufacturer (e.g., Jabra, Poly) to deliver an integrated audio capture + ClickUp AI transcription experience

Insta360 has already proven this is technically feasible with their Wave device. If ClickUp built or partnered on something similar — a speakerphone that feeds directly into ClickUp Brain with speaker labels — it would cover all three scenarios with a single ecosystem, eliminating the need for any third-party tool.

This would be a significant competitive differentiator, especially for consulting and professional services teams working regularly at client sites.
