ClickUp Chat Feedback

As a retailer using clickup for management only, we have a few business plus accounts and lots of options to add guests. Most retail staff do not need clickup as it is overkill for their purposes, so we use the free version of Slack for quick communications. It would be great if we could get all of them into using clickup chat instead and thus ease them slowly into seeing the advantages of it for other purposes.

Ability to archive or delete channels in case where they were made by mistake, for example, when: A similar channel already existed and we want to delete this one. The chat channel was created with the wrong group of people or in the wrong space.

The ability to schedule sending messages later. This includes sending it later in relative time (e.g. in two hours) or absolute time (eg. 2pm tomorrow).

Currently, I can't find a way to rename a Chat Channel (it's automatically named the Folder or List it's linked to). It seems the thought process behind if it's linked to an area to name it that – but especially if we could get Channels that AREN'T linked to an area, the ability to name it whatever we want would be helpful.

The message or post that is sent should include a link to the task that triggered the automation. Enhancements could include things like: When the automation is triggered, prompt the user with a window to include more context for the message that will be sent. Allow the option to tag specific users that are following that list as part of the message/post. Allow the ability to @mention all users that are part of that list or message/post

Currently, if you create a chat and don't mark it as private right from the start, you cannot mark it as private later. We need to be able to mark a chat private whenever we want to.

Just build a slack clone for the love of God. Mimic all the features, threads, channels, huddles, email addresses for each channel, automations and bots, etc. No need to "engineer it" just copy it lol. It's the only way to get people to easily switch. In fact if you engineer anything, build a one click "IMPORT" tool, so people can just import their entire current slack workspace.

Right now it takes more than a few clicks to assign a comment to someone and to create a task from a comment on the new ClickUp chat ( both on mobile and desktop ). But to make working seamless, we shud have the ability to click a button next to chat message and convert it into a task or assigned comment. The button shud be separate for creation of task and separate for creation of assigned comment. And in some cases the comment / task shud be auto assigned to the person with whom we are doing direct chat / or there shud be a way to figure out by ai whom to auto assign the task / comment or some default option in settings and this shud become a single click feature.
