I sent a chat message in a channel, but then realized I should have made it into a post or announcement. It would be great to be able to just convert that existing message into a post, instead of needing to delete and then recreate it as a post/announcement/idea.

To convert chat messages into posts or announcements, consider adding a contextual menu option, keyboard https://www.mgh-patientgateway.com shortcut, or dedicated button. When converting, preserve formatting, include context, and allow for customization.
