Feature Requests

I understand that 4.0 is supposed to have a lot of improvements. And the statements are that it will improve productivity, save time, etc. However, my whole team was trained on ClickUp 3.0. They even created training videos for future team members based on 3.0. I am the account owner and have tried the 4.0 interface. It takes me twice as long to navigate and complete the tasks I need to accomplish. It does not save me time or increase my productivity, it does the exact opposite. I polled my team, their response is the same. The whole world thinks they want AI. However, our clients (across many of our companies) values our authenticity over AI produced work that only matches at a surface level. We fell in love with ClickUp 3.0. We built training around it and we are quite productive with it. We seamlessly manage more than 15 companies with it. If forced to adopt to 4.0, it is asking us to learn all over again and, as such, consider the competition's offerings and examine their roadmaps. Software companies seem to add more features and functions to improve the offering. Great. But they do not seem to consider how many people are accustomed to their interface. So my feature request does not include going back to 3.0 in feature set. It is to maintain the ClickUp 3.0 interface and allow users to permanently toggle between it and 4.0 like you would a theme. It shows respect to those who have subscribed for years, paid money to ClickUp, got others to use the platform and have spent significant money and time in developing training for their teams to use it.

When I make changes to which Subtask columns I want to see in Task View 3.0 it doesn't seem to save those changes. So if I make changes and close the task, the next time I open it up I have to readd the columns desired (for example time tracking, time estimated, etc.)

In spite of being an emo, the dark mode is actually too dark right now. The old one was better, in my humble and emotive opinion. Thx

When you make a document or list publicly available by sharing it, the public link view is stuck in lightmode. This makes reading documents very painful and makes the board view for lists very difficult to read. The Save button is not visible at the bottom when you add a manual entry AND click note/description while in full screen on a standard laptop. ALSO.... format on time tracked display (when task is open/expanded) is occasionally the wrong format (looks like a combo of milliseconds and HH:MM:SS)

I just wondered why you guys keep changing the colours we can set across ClickUp, and why there is not alignment across Spaces and Lists. My Space colours have changed, and, curiously, the default options I have for List colours are completely different (they seem to have stayed the same). For example, I used to be able to have this bright green for Spaces as well as Lists, but now I can only have it for Lists. Being able to set the colours we want is really important, as it unifies certain areas of our Workspaces as well as other apps. It means you know what topic something is about across all of ClickUp and other apps. But now they are all different, and they get changed randomly. I would also just like to be able to have custom options for Spaces that can be saved, like we can for Lists. This would also help with defaults being changed in the future. On that same token, you have also changed my Tag colours. They used to be bright, which caught my eye. Now they are really muted. Even if I change the colour using the colour picker, they are desaturated, and the text inside is grey instead of a brighter version of the colour I had. The whole point of tags is to quickly and easily see them called out. But muting the colours stops this. And if I set a custom colour, I really don't want ClickUp overriding that and desaturating them for a muted look. I want them bright so I see them. I understand if you have changed the defaults for, say, accessibility reasons, but if we choose custom colours, you should not override them.

Adding the ability to have two documents open at the same time, or a document and any kind of chart/ whiteboard/ flow chart that can be used on clickup would be super helpful.

Please make it possible to have tabs within the desktop browser (similar to a web browser). Wrike has that and it is essential for multitasking and efficiency. Having to completely click out of a task to go reference something else in ClickUp is a major inconvenience and time suck. My productivity has declined significantly since switching to ClickUp.

A color wheel has been provided for custom color creation for folders and lists. Please add a color wheel for custom color creation for space icons as well. The number of spaces I have exceeds the number of available colors. I would like each space to have it's own distinct color. A color wheel would solve this.

When you need to check subtasks quickly, it's very easy. Unfortunately with checklists, you need to go into each task and navigate to action items section (or scroll down). It would help if you could just click on the checklist icon and view all the checklist, something like latest comments column does. Maybe column for checklist wouldn't be a bad idea either
