Hi ClickUp Product Team and Community, I am writing to suggest an important update regarding the phone number input field during account setup. Currently, the country code dropdown lists Taiwan as "Taiwan, Province of China". From a UX and localization perspective, this naming convention causes significant friction and creates a negative onboarding experience for your Taiwanese user base. To provide some context: Taiwan operates as a distinct, self-governing democracy with entirely separate legal, economic, and civic systems. Furthermore, given the unique and often challenging circumstances Taiwanese people face internationally, seeing our home mischaracterized in a daily productivity tool is deeply disheartening. It inadvertently forces external geopolitical issues into a space where we just want to focus on our work. We rely on ClickUp for efficiency and collaboration, and we believe the platform's UI should reflect a welcoming environment for everyone. Standard best practices across major global tech platforms (such as Google, Apple, and Microsoft) simply use the label "Taiwan". Please consider updating the country code label to "Taiwan" to reflect reality, respect your users' identity, and align with industry localization standards. Optimizations and improvements for things like clicking around, the app becoming sticky, and generally related to the web or desktop applications.

Clickup is now so slow that I literally can't do any other work while it's open in a browser tab. Switching tabs takes 10 - 15 seconds, switching applications takes longer, I encounter regular UI freezes (in everything not just clickup tabs). When I close clickup everything runs normally again.

I feel like that in the past your app felt more snappier, now it feels sluggish and I find myself trying to avoid clicking certain things because I don't want to wait several seconds for it to load. I really enjoining the app and want it to be better

I don't have a large database to manage in ClickUp, or any automations worth speaking about, or fancy templates. I'm just a simple power user. Some of us spend enormous amounts of money on our gear to overcome performance issues with localized applications when they aren't optimized. But we have NO power here. There is NO reason in 2025 with ClickUp's success that this platform needs to be so slow. It was great last year when I was in it every day for hour working with AI, creating CU docs, multiple user types, diagrams, etc... this year, it's been chill, and it take up to 10 seconds to load the app UI on every computer. I have over 500MB speed to my PC, but Click Up is so slow it is hard to use. It does not update and hides information only later to see it. What are you doing to increase performance.

The application is very slow even on high-end phones and there are many things that can not be configured and you have to use the website

ClickUp used G2 to administer customer surveys, promising a $25 gift card reward. Unfortunately, I did the survey. I went to go claim my reward, and there are no rewards to claim on the G2/Tango side of this initiative.

Performance for clickup is pretty terrible for organizations that use clickup a lot. I'm looking at a single page load (my dashboard) that has over 1300+ requests and over 70mb of data. Is there anything we can do about performance?

Right now it is very cumbersome to report reduced/degraded performance. It has an impact on our productivity and so, to us at least, it doesn’t feel like it is treated with any form of urgency on Clickup’s part. You have to use the “chat” function, to ultimately submit a ticket. Which all in all took close to 5 minutes. Here’s an idea: How about a button on the status page ( status.clickup.com ) titled “report reduced performance” or something like that? Sure, if after that the automated system still asks a bunch of basic questions, I get it. But having to search for a way to report and then still jump through a bunch of hoops … The impact of any outage can be high, as many use Clickup for documentation, for dev sprints, … It can grind dev work to a halt. Having a faster way to report an outage would be great. Especially if we can get the impression that it is treated with priority and not with the rest of support tickets. Perhaps the nature of the ticket means that it is, how would you know? And that is part of the problem. If there’s a “report reduced performance” button, and that starts some kind of counter on Clickup’s end, or even on the status page, that increases the urgency as more reports come in, that would at least give the feeling that customer’s reports of reduced performance are being dealt with with the highest priority. Not saying they aren’t at the moment, but the clumsy reporting method and the lack of any indication it will be dealt with with the highest urgency, don’t help.
