Customers have requested the ability to show reminders created from chat and tasks on planner.

Hi ClickUp Team, Our team relies heavily on the Planner for capacity management, and we frequently add tasks to our calendars to visualize workload. However, we’ve run into a significant issue: tasks added through the Planner automatically appear as “Busy” on our Outlook calendars, and there’s currently no way to change that status in ClickUp. We can manually do this in Outlook, but it's incredibly inefficient, defeating the purpose of the Planner tool. Because of this limitation, these tasks are blocking our availability in Calendly (our meeting booking system) and showing our team as completely unavailable—even when many of these tasks are low-priority and flexible. While some tasks should hold Busy time, the majority need to be marked as Free so client meetings can take precedence. Feature Request: Please add the ability to set the “Free/Busy” status for tasks created via the Planner IN ClickUp. Why this matters: Our calendars appear unavailable to clients and partners due to Planner tasks auto-blocking time. This creates scheduling conflicts in Calendly and Outlook. We cannot manually change the status in Planner because the field is grayed out. The Planner is designed for capacity planning, so the ability to distinguish between Busy and Free time is essential.**** We would greatly appreciate this enhancement—it would make Planner fully usable for teams that manage capacity and scheduling side-by-side. Some users have said they wish they didn't have to connect Google or Outlook to use ClickUp calendar to create events, timeblocks, etc.

Some customers have requested the ability to specify a location and visualize travel time in the grid.

At the moment, in the Planner/Calendar view, there’s no way to sort tasks in my To-Do list. Currently, all tasks appear mixed together, so I can only use the infinite search or filter by a specific task list — which isn’t ideal when managing multiple clients. Having the option to sort tasks by due date would already be a huge improvement, as it would make it much easier to plan when I’m working on each task in the calendar.

Is there two way sync for Mac calendar? That'd be amazing. Just so when you're on your iPhone and change something on your calendar it automatically changes it in ClickUp.

Calendar view in list/folder/space level should be more like calendar on the top (beside the search bar). Today should be more visible ( I usually can not find it) In month view, it should adjust the height of rows - show whole month without scrolling grafic design more modern (round corners - like in the new calendar on the top beside the search bar).

Hi There! I see all the tasks that I have planned for my day on the top of my calendar on the section "All day" and that is great! however, there are several things that would be great to fix and improve, see my notes below: when I mark tasks done, the tasks showing in my calendar don't go away. they stay there. if it is a 2 way sync, when I mark something done or moved to another day etc, It should reflect in my calendar, right? Any meetings I add under google calendar or that my team adds, they don't over to the calendar in click up. and even when I adjust the time of a task to be done specifically, like it is not updated in the CU Calendar... am I missing something maybe? let me know. thank you!

Hello ClickUp Team, GENERAL DESCRIPTION I would like to request a new feature that allows users to create a Calendar view within a given Space (or Folder/List) that displays only meetings or calendar events, excluding tasks. Currently, the Calendar view in ClickUp shows tasks based on their dates, but there is no way to filter or create a calendar that exclusively showcases meetings from integrated calendars (such as Google Calendar or Outlook). WHY THIS FEATURE IS NEEDED It would help teams and individuals focus on scheduled meetings without the clutter of task deadlines. It would provide a clear overview of upcoming meetings within the context of a specific Space or project. This would improve efficiency by allowing teams linked to a Space to focus their attention on meetings relevant only to that Space, rather than being overwhelmed by seeing all meetings for all Spaces. It would improve planning and time management by separating meetings from task-related events. SUGGESTED FUNCTIONALITY Allow users to add a Calendar view to a Space, Folder, or List that can be filtered to show only meetings/events from integrated calendars. Option to toggle between viewing tasks, meetings, or both in the Calendar view. Ability to associate meetings with specific Spaces for better organization. Alternatively, meetings shown in the main calendar could be labeled with the relevant Space name and immediately mapped into a meeting-dedicated calendar for that Space. This would make it easy to identify and filter meetings by Space, further reducing cognitive overload for teams. Thank you for considering this feature! Please add Persian calendar which is official calendar in Iran, Afghanistan and are used in many other countries. This will make using ClickUp much more easy in these countries https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solar_Hijri_calendar Thanks.
