Hi, I'm using the API to post chat messages from our app, and I'd love if there would be a way to indicate we want a link to be formatted as bookmark instead of normal link.

Currently chat API supports creating text/md format which is good, but it would be even better if we could create stuff like text badges via the API.

Improvement for the GET Retrieve Channel messages endpoint, https://developer.clickup.com/reference/getchatmessages It would be great to include an array of replies to the messages as well as the name and email of the user who created the message already to the response. Currently I have to retrieve replies and user names in seperate calls which requires lots of additional API calls and makes our automation workflow more difficult.

Hello ClickUp API Team, I would like to report an inconsistency in the ClickUp API response schema regarding message IDs. According to the current behavior: Create Message API returns the message id as an int64 Update Message API returns the message id as a string This mismatch is problematic for strongly typed systems (e.g. Go, Java, TypeScript with strict typing), where the same entity is expected to have a consistent data type across API endpoints.

I’d like the ability to create a ClickUp Chat channel via Zapier automation. The channel name should be customizable based on inputs from earlier Zapier steps, and I’d like to automatically invite specific ClickUp users. Currently, the only option is to manually import channels from Slack, but my goal is to move away from Slack entirely and keep all communication directly within ClickUp—without having to create the channel in Slack first.

I think it is essential to be able to hook tasks to threads via API, actually there three parameter on chat create message endpoint that doesn t have any documentation on how to be used, maybe they are used to link task to thread, if yes provide documentation, if now add some nei parameter on the endpoint to do it
