Feature Requests

I would like the ability to make tags specific to workspace, space, or lists. My company currently has "Industrial" and "Construction" under a Major Sales space that we report out of. The ability for all of the Industrial relevant tags to not have to be shown in the Construction list and vise versa would clean things up a ton.

When managing a number of project types, it would be great to have a space where you can see and manage all the tasks from other spaces: Tasks in Space A Tasks in Space B Tasks from both A & B are all viewable in Space C. This makes dashboards specific to each Space useful while also getting a quick birds eye view of what is going on.

It would be nice to be able to track who is a manager o supervisor or otherwise responsible person for an entire Space or List. For now, the workaround that I thought of is to include the person's name in a [Bracket].

For businesses, following compliance and Security protocols is very important; hence, the owner should've access to all the users' data in their space to ensure they're using the company's tech environment ethically and responsibly.

It should be possible to set an alphabetical sorting for folders within a space which would run everytime a folder is added/created. Right now you have to do this manually each time! This is almost ridiculous!

Renaming favorites is essential because lists don’t always have descriptive names. For example: The space is called “Acme” The list is called “Tech” “Tech” is a very common list name across many spaces. As a result, I end up with multiple favorites named “Tech,” and I can’t tell them apart. I’m genuinely surprised this feature was removed. Because of this alone, I can’t switch to 4.0. It would be instant chaos among the team the moment we move to 4.0. Our ClickUp teammates absolutely love having favorites at the top, with custom naming.

Feature to sort is great, however, when a new items is added (e.g. new folder to a space) it does not automatically sort it into the correct order, it just adds it to the bottom of the list and you have to reselect the 'sort' option. Can this be automated if you have already selected a sorting option - any new items should just automatically resort

Currently in version 2 beta, there is a menu where all of the spaces are listed, represented by a blue circle with their first character in it. This makes it a bit of a pain to find the space that I want to switch to. Allowing to a set color for each space and using this color in the menu would make this much easier (especially in our case, where multiple project start with the same char).

I love the everything view so I can see what the team as a whole is working on. Right now we have the option of coloring tasks by list or status. It would be more helpful for me to color them by space (We don't tend to color lists).

Assign a colour to a space or project, so that when you have a list view with mulitiple projects you can see at a glance which it is from
