Feature Requests

It would be great to get some more filter options, to only see Activity and Messages from certain areas or Tasks. E.g., Location filter, or a filter by notifications where the Task has a certain Custom Field.

If a chat message is marked as read in the inbox, it should also be shown as read in the chat (and vice versa). Currently, the “read” states of Inbox and Chat are completely separate, which means that messages that have already been read are still displayed as unread in the chat. Desired behavior: Consistent reading status across inbox and chat, ideally as an optional setting.

I would like a way to mark all or certain notifications as read or unread.

Replying from Inbox is great, but there's no way to jump from a thread into its actual location inside the task. Could we add either: Clicking the thread title opens the task and scrolls to that comment Or a "View in Task" button next to reply that does the same Right now I have to manually open the task and hunt for the comment, which gets tedious when following multiple threads. Direct navigation would make this much smoother.

For quickly jotting down a task on the run, don't require choosing space:list. Just have an inbox as holding place. Later, can add assignees lists etc.

My agency uses clickup and my clients are using clickup as well by my recommendation. We should have one single chat not restricted to spaces. This could be huge transformation!

Is it possible to reply to email straight from the inbox. I've noticed hitting reply at the bottom of the email just add a comment in the task chat.

As soon as I open the inbox, there is a list of tasks. I would like the ability to click the status icon and change it right from there without having to open the Inbox notification.

I opted into using the "All" tab in inbox, and that's my go-to inbox view. In the sidebar, the count of unread notifications in my inbox is for the Primary tab, not for the All tab. I would like to change the count shown to show the unread count for the All tab.

The new inbox doesn't show the parent task name on the main view (important/other) when a notification is for a subtask. (Old notifications did.) You can get to it by clicking into the notification, but it would be preferred to have that at-a-glance insight. We often put the client name on the parent task and don't put it on the subtasks to avoid redundancy. (Also because of template limitations.) So a person can be assigned several tasks named the same thing. It would be really nice to be able to see parent task name in the main view.
