GitLab/Github wikis give the possibility to render plantuml/mermaidjs diagrams. It would be awesome to have the same feature.

Get page returns the page contents in markdown. If a link is not raw it will be skipped over in the returned content. https://developer.clickup.com/reference/getpagepublic Note on why this is an important feature: we wish to ingest data from our clickup pages since a lot of team communication goes on in there. Since most users tend to embed/preview their links we are now unable to read the links via an API call. Links are a vital source of information.

In the Mac app, when my mouse hovers over a URL and the preview pops up, it will not go away. I can't close it, I can only hover over another URL and get another popup, or refresh the page. Other than that I love ClickUp and you guys are doing a great job :-)

It looks like tables in docs have been slightly improved - https://clickup.canny.io/feature-requests/p/improve-tables-in-docs-big-time . However, still big improvements are needed: * Background color * Header formatting * More column width control * Cell merging * Center align tables * They still look ugly * ... I could go on and on At the very least implement something like Typora has - more control, more formatting options and rendering is quite good for markdown tables.

I often find that it would be helpful to be able to sort doc pages in a different order than the default. often times, i want to have the most recent page at the top of the list rather than the bottom. Right now, when that is the case, I have to drag the page to the top of the list but it would be helpful to be able to change the order from oldest -> newest and vice versa. Dragging to change the order gets to be a hassle when I have a long list of pages (weekly notes).

Hello ClickUp Team, I’d like to request a feature that would allow users to add interactive dropdown menus inside tables created in Docs, task descriptions, or comments. Currently, while we can create tables and manually type status-like values, there is no way to insert a true dropdown field within a table cell for easy selection and updating. This feature would be extremely helpful for tracking statuses, options, or progress directly within documentation tables—making them more dynamic and actionable, similar to how dropdown custom fields work on tasks. Use case example: Creating a project status table in a Doc where each row represents a task or item, and the status column uses a dropdown for quick updates (e.g., To Do, In Progress, Done). There are so many things that notion does better when it comes to the typing and formatting experience. Like there is so much flexiblity and also ease of use in notion that isn't showing up in clickup. For example, notion tables are 5X better than clickup table Also I can't share a subpage with someone without sharing the primary page - this sucks honestly. Love you guys though. If yall solve this docs issue, you guys are gonna eat up the compeition.

Currently, every time a user pastes a link into a task description, comment, or Doc, ClickUp prompts them to choose between "URL", "Bookmark", or "Embed". This adds unnecessary clicks for users who consistently prefer one format over the others. Proposed Solution: Add a setting under User Settings > My Settings (or Workspace Settings) that allows users to choose a "Default Paste Behavior". Key Benefits: Efficiency: Saves time for power users who paste dozens of links daily. Consistency: Ensures all links follow the preferred documentation style of the workspace automatically. Reduced Friction: Eliminates the repetitive pop-up menu for those who only want the raw URL. Suggested Options: Always ask (Current behavior) Default to URL Default to Bookmark Default to Embed

I have a huge wiki document with multiple subpages nested into a neat hierarchy. I’d love to be able to export a subsection of a doc but also include its some pages. For example, i have a section in my wiki document full of SOP’s. I’d love to export all the SOP’s under there in to one markdown or HTML file. Right now, i have to export either the entire wiki, and remove what I don’t want from a massive doc. Or download each subpage manually and then merge them manually. It’s time consuming especially after i spent so much time organizing all my content in a neat hierarchy
