Make Docs function like notion
K
Kunal Goyal
There are so many things that notion does better when it comes to the typing and formatting experience.
Like there is so much flexiblity and also ease of use in notion that isn't showing up in clickup.
For example, notion tables are 5X better than clickup table
Also I can't share a subpage with someone without sharing the primary page - this sucks honestly.
Love you guys though. If yall solve this docs issue, you guys are gonna eat up the compeition.

Yes!
- Please make bullets and sub-bullets visually differentiated.
- Please allow heading toggles.
- Please make it easier to indent different chunks of information.
- Please make it easier to drag and drop different chunks of information.
- Please make heading levels visually easier to differentiate.
- Please just make it like Notion. 😅

I agree the UX in CU docs can be better especially how the tables work.

Guys! SO many users are using notion AND Clickup. CU is supposed to be the "One to replace them all!". Your docs are almost there! Please just polish the UI, switch to twemoji set, add toggle headers, improve the ugly, outdated bg on the doc into a darker black, clean up the highlighter colors to something more modern and you're all set! You'd crush notion! It's not hard!

The biggest advantage of notion.so in this context is the toggle list item functionality. I'm evaluating to use notion.so just because of this feature instead of inviting the user to Clickup. Having an extensive amount of data to show and oversee, Clickup Docs is not pragmatic. We need to toggle list items!

Yes, 100% agree with this. We actually still use Notion unfortunately because of the limitations of CU docs, but primarily because of the limitations with CU tables and lack of standard table features (filter, calculations/formulas, formatting rules, etc.) and 'database-like' features. Would be great to use CU entirely for this!

Yes! I want to be able to put a table (and attachments) in a toggled list on docs, like you can in notion. The formatting in docs could be improved so much. Also want to be able to copy and paste the info in a table elsewhere.

100% ack.

Also want more functionality to docs… I love the capabilities of it but want more flexibility in how to design
