Missive App Integration Questions & Enhancement needed
Am I missing something? When using the integration and updating the status of an integrated task in clickup, the status only changes in the clickup integration pane - it does not actually integrate or change the status of the ask in missive, causing updates to be needed in two places? This doesn't seem like the intended workflow and would appreciate any insight into what I may be doing wrong. On another note, the ability to have a template when syncing tasks would be amazing. e.g. a template for sales calls, that have a default priority, assignee, location, etc already selected so all fields do not need to be entered every time. One of the main reasons our team got clickup was because of the integration with missive, but it is causing operational challenges as is. There is very limited information on the integration and it is not clear what to expect. The above are my team's pain points that we would need resolved at a minimum for this integration to be effective - but the desire is there from people. I will share some additional requests from Missive's Canny, a lot of which are from 2024-2025. If an update to this could be pushed out, it would be so greatly appreciated by all of us trying to use both of these systems. My dream: being able to leverage missive's rules with the integration. It would be a game-changer. Missive's canny site has a few of the below requests: Ability to use custom fields in the integration Ability to set start date through the integration Ability to choose subtasks to link Ability to enhance search feature to be per workspace A direct automation to sync Missive Tasks to clickup tasks with bidirectional auto syncing
