It would be great if in the Task View we could have the ability to customize (globally) the columns that we see next to each task. By default it is Assignees, Priority, and Due Date, with an option to manually add in columns, but that doesn't translate globally. I think a separate global setting for this would be a great addition as a lot of us are looking at start date and due date, not just due date.

When I open a parent task and scroll down to view the subtasks, the "name" column is stretched so wide I can barely see the assignee and can't see the due date at all. I have to manually drag the name column to be narrower every single time in order to see who something is assigned to (or make an assignment) and when it's due (or change the due date). It would be nice to have a way to make the Name column narrower by default so we don't have to do this every time we open a parent task.

Allow users to add custom tabs to the task right sidebar, alongside Comments, Relationships, Links, and other existing tabs. A custom tab could contain: a ClickUp View a Doc or Dashboard an external embedded webpage content from an integration Tabs should be configurable per task, Task Type, List, or template. This would make it possible to keep relevant information directly next to the task—for example a CRM profile, project dashboard, contract, client portal, or filtered view—without constantly switching between locations.

Problem: Often within a single list, we have different types of tasks: some represent projects, designs, and smaller action items. Each one should go through their own set of statuses, but this is currently not possible. We are forced to either use dropdown custom fields as a workaround or create large status sets to try and encompass everything, leading to confusion among people. Ask: Give the ability for statuses to be set by type. This will allow each task type to have its own status workflow.

It would be great to have additional details or reference links when you add a comment to a task description. Imagining that could be: Timestamp, so that update added has a date/time reference Link to comment so you know where that update came from and can reference that comment (and maybe sub-comments) after.

We need a way to filter on subtask

It would be useful if we could change the status of the parent task to 'In Progress' or whatever the user chooses when a subtask status is changed. Similarly, if a parent status changes, changing all the subtasks to that status, or an option to change to a specific subtask

Hey! How do I plan the same task on more different days - e.g. 3h today and 2h tomorrow, BUT with specified "from-to" hours for each day, not just draging it accross 2 days. I'd like to be able to work on the same task a few hours every day, however don't want to use the recurring trigger as the task doesn't show up in the calendar until the trigger is activated. Currently I duplicate the same task and schedule it on different days. Thanks for any suggestions!

I'd love to see a task sidebar view that is fixed, rather than floating off to the right. Even on my laptop screen, there'd be enough screen real-estate to scrunch the main ClickUp view into a central column, and have a fixed/pinned task sidebar view on the right. I don't like how this sidebar view covers up the whole right side of the main ClickUp area. What if the information I'm trying to reference by using the Task-Sidebar view is only visible on the right side of ClickUp's main view? 😂 All in all, though, it's a great start, and it's very helper in many other use cases.

Not sure how to explain this but everything in the new task view seems bigger, or takes up more screen space, than the old view? It's less "cluttered," yes, but it makes me feel like just the task window has been zoomed in somehow.
