Task Types By Space or Private Task Types
At the moment, task types are Workspace-wide. However, different teams have different needs as far as task types, which is why Space-level or private options would be optimal.
For example, an HR team wouldn't rely on the same task types as an IT team. Each department may have sensitive information in their workflows (represented by a task type) that they don't want other teams to have visibility on.

Hey, Daniel Urbano! The Open status means that our Product team is currently collecting feedback; however, they haven’t fully scoped out this feature improvement yet!

Daniel Urbano, it means they are going to develop something for the Marketing and Sales team (which is a big as the engineering team) so they can sell more licenses, instead of making the core product better (or at least acceptable).

Rose Hart, good luck, we cannot even get a simple bug to run automated extracted at the time requested. I have automations to run at noon, some run at 12:04, some at 12:18, and some at 12:44. Six months and nothing yet. BTW, I logged it as a bug and they marked is as resolved because they have and CLK number for engineering.

Really need this to help organize the workspaces. Echoing comments for us that have multiple departments and very different workflows its hard to use native functions and end up having to create manual (custom fields, automations) workflows. With https://feedback.clickup.com/feature-requests/p/custom-fields-by-task-type getting closer, I will not be able to use this functionality without this first.

I've built so many fantastic automations based on task type, but we're about to roll out ClickUp to departments that are in no way related to mine and now there are 20 task types that are totally irrelevant to these other departments. As I'm advocating for efficacy of ClickUp with the other departments it's going to be tricky to negotiate how this particular feature has to be negotiated at a higher level instead of granularly at the space level.
