Feature Requests

I think this must have been a recent UI update because it didn't do it before, and it's obnoxious. I have a 2 column document that i use daily and the blue is terrible. It toggles between blue and white and hard on the eyes. It's irritating. Can't you just outline it with a grey line or something. Changing the background color is OBNOXIOUS.

I'm on calls where my assistant isn't and doesn't get permission to the Notetaker Doc. It takes unnecessary time to change the permissions and add Docs to tasks when my assistant could do this if she had access.

First off: I recently moved to ClickUp and the app has come a long way: big props. The one area where I still hit friction is the toggle list. A few changes would make it a lot smoother: Tab doesn't move a line into the toggle. With a normal bullet, I can press Tab to nest a line underneath it and Shift+Tab to pull it back out - quick and intuitive. I'd expect the same for a toggle, but pressing Tab on a line below a toggle doesn't move it inside. The behavior feels inconsistent: in some cases Tab nests, in others nothing happens. No drag-and-drop into a collapsed toggle. It would be great if a toggle behaved like a folder, drop a block onto it and it lands inside, even while the toggle is collapsed. Right now I have to expand the toggle first, then drag the item in, every single time. Since new toggles start collapsed, this gets clunky fast. PLUS: EXTRA BUG Undo doesn't work after converting a block. When I turn a line into a quote, Cmd+Z doesn't revert it - pressing it does nothing. I have to undo the change manually every time. Thanks for the great work. These tweaks would make toggles much more fluid.

Thank you for v2. So many improvements to an already great app :) I would like to request that you please consider adding latex (math typesetting) to docs (and comments?). Maybe via https://www.mathjax.org/ or other (dropbox have a nice implementation as well in their new "Dropbox Paper"). Ideally, this could be a setting to be enabled per user so that text surrounded with '$' (or '$$' for an equation line) will be rendered by the math engine (i.e. mathjax). Thank you!

I often find that it would be helpful to be able to sort doc pages in a different order than the default. often times, i want to have the most recent page at the top of the list rather than the bottom. Right now, when that is the case, I have to drag the page to the top of the list but it would be helpful to be able to change the order from oldest -> newest and vice versa. Dragging to change the order gets to be a hassle when I have a long list of pages (weekly notes).

Remember the last used formatting toolbar position setting. eg. If the user has set the formatting toolbar position to "pinned" in the most recent session, then opening a document in a new session should retain that setting. (Similarly to how it is retained within a single session currently)

It would be fantastic to be able to add custom fields from a task to auto populate in a document

I would love to have a setting to toggle Slash Commands on and off.
