It would greatly improve productivity if AI models in ClickUp could remember my conversation preferences—such as preferred response format, tone, and level of detail—across sessions. This would save time by eliminating the need to repeat instructions and ensure a more personalized, consistent AI experience for ongoing projects.

ClickUp AI needs to be able to review & update checklists. Currently seems to have no connection beyond reading or creating a summary that list how many checklist items but does not seem to be recognizing whats there and has no access to change or update these.

Currently, ClickUp Brain can search and reference files stored in SharePoint, but it does not index or search the contents of PDF documents stored there. This limitation makes it difficult to surface relevant information that may be embedded within important PDF files, such as contracts, reports, or reference materials. I am using Chat GPT itself for this as it does a great job but it takes extra time to feed it all the context. I am requesting an enhancement that allows ClickUp Brain to search the full text of PDF documents stored in connected SharePoint accounts. This would enable users to quickly find and reference information within PDFs directly from ClickUp, improving productivity and knowledge management across integrated platforms. Key benefits: Faster access to critical information stored in PDFs on SharePoint. Improved search accuracy and relevance for workspace users. Streamlined workflows by reducing the need to manually open and search PDFs outside of ClickUp. Overview: Persistent memory would allow ClickUp Brain to remember user-defined preferences, shorthands, and workflow rules across sessions—similar to features in ChatGPT, manus.im and other standout AI tools. This would significantly enhance workflow efficiency and user experience. Use Case Example: As a user managing multiple “Inbox” lists across different Spaces (e.g., General, Business, Relationships), I want to quickly capture tasks, notes, and ideas into the correct list using custom shorthands (e.g., “Inbox: [my entry]”, “Business Inbox: [my entry]”, “gi: [my entry]”). Currently, ClickUp Brain does not retain these preferences between sessions, requiring me to repeat instructions or clarify context each time, which is very inefficient. Benefits: - Frictionless Capture: Users can define and reuse custom shorthands for rapid task entry, reducing cognitive load and saving time. - Personalized Workflows: Persistent memory enables tailored automation, such as routing items to the correct list or applying user-specific rules without repeated setup. - Consistency: Ensures that workflow processes remain consistent, even as users switch devices or return after a break. - User Empowerment: Allowing users to view, update, or delete their stored preferences gives them control and transparency, increasing trust in the AI assistant. Feature Suggestion:- Enable persistent, user-manageable memory for “Brain Max" (or indeed ClickUp). - Allow users to set, review, and update their own shorthands, rules, and preferences. - Provide an interface for managing these settings, similar to prompt libraries or automation dashboards. Impact: This feature would streamline daily workflows, reduce repetitive setup, and make ClickUp Brain a true productivity partner—especially for power users and teams with complex/ personalised processes.

It would be great if we could multi-select items in List view to then ask ClickUp AI about. E.g., select 3 Tasks in List view multi-select, then ask ClickUp AI to summarise the Task Descriptions of the parent tasks and any subtasks and nested subtasks.

Since Clickup is deep in openai ecosystem, please upgrade the underlying model powering Clickup Brain's searching and writing with GPT-5 full version instead of 4o. Searching is still very bad with Brain and it's writing could be improved heavily.

We need more control to adjust prompts for task summaries and standups. While creating and populating large number of tasks it is impossible to get all the information right like status and due date. After setting up due dates, statuses assignees, clickup pickups all these non essential updates and hyperboles the activity progress. We need to be able to control that for AI Cards, AI summaries, AI Project Updates, and AI Standups

It would be great if there were a place in ClickUp's settings where we could add custom instructions for the AI to follow for every response. A few examples of customizations I'd like to deploy: Do not use ClickUp style project links in your responses. Take the title of the project and add a hyperlink to the title text. (ClickUp style project links do not copy at all to Teams messages for project updates.) Do not use the following words in your responses: delve; game-changer; bespoke; disruptive Plus, custom company-specific grammar style rules for titles, paragraph structure, etc.

Is it possible to create a word or pdf template, and set to ClickUp AI extract each data from attached word form to each custom field, setting by me? For example... I say to ClickUp AI that I have a template form document in word. And everytime I attach a new filled word form (that is the template document), the ClickUp AI extract the email field to custom field "email", and extract the address field to custom field "Address", etc. I came up with this possibility while testing your feature of telling ClickUp AI (Custom Field) what specific information I want to extract from the task description for my AI custom field, which by the way, is INCREDIBLE! CONGRATULATIONS! This would be a game changing :)
