In Slack Huddles, when someone shares their screen others are able to "draw" on the screen being shared using the pen tool. This is extremely helpful for teams working remotely.

Need a chat window like LinkedIn to always have chat available when using Clickup. It happens most of the time that i want to interact with a person while working on a doc/ticket and it becomes very difficult to switch between chat and the working screen again and again

PROBLEM Replies are split into separate Read and Unread tabs. In practice this means: I keep switching tabs to follow a conversation, because once a reply is marked read it moves to the other tab and I lose the context. The Replies list doesn't work like the Inbox. In the Inbox I can expand, collapse and mark items read or unread. In Replies I can't. If I mark something read by accident, finding it again takes extra clicks. PROPOSED SOLUTION Replace the Read and Unread tabs with a single Replies view that works the same way as the Inbox: One list: read and unread replies sit together in one feed. Unread first: unread replies always stay at the top. Read replies follow underneath, newest first. Expand and collapse: each reply thread can be opened in place to show the full conversation and closed again, the same as Inbox items. Mark read or unread: each reply has a read/unread toggle on hover, and you can select several replies and change them at once, the same as the Inbox. Marking a reply unread moves it back to the top. Optional filter: keep an "Unread only" toggle for anyone who wants the current focused view. WHY IT MATTERS Consistency: Inbox and Replies would work the same way, so there's less to learn. Speed: you can triage all replies in one place without switching tabs. Less lost work: replies stay visible after they're read, so follow-ups don't get missed. Scale: this matters most for heavy users and managers who get dozens of replies a day across many tasks. ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA There is one Replies view with no Read/Unread tabs. Unread replies always sort above read ones. Each reply can be expanded and collapsed in place. The read/unread toggle works on single replies and on a multi-select, matching Inbox behaviour. The unread count badge stays correct as replies change state.

It would be incredibly useful to have the ability to move chat channels between different spaces, folders or lists within ClickUp. This feature would enhance organizational flexibility and allow teams to better manage their communication channels as projects evolve. Currently, chat channels are fixed to their original location, which can be limiting when restructuring or reorganizing workspaces. Implementing this feature would greatly improve workflow efficiency and adaptability.

When using ClickUp as the main communication tool, in daily team meetings, when accessing a SyncUP, we are not notified when someone enters or leaves the call.

Description: It would be very helpful if ClickUp played a short sound notification whenever someone joins or leaves a SyncUp. Use Case: During team meetings or collaborative sessions, it can be difficult to notice when participants enter or exit the SyncUp — especially when the ClickUp window is not in focus or minimized. A brief sound alert would make it easier to stay aware of attendance changes without constantly checking the screen. Proposed Functionality: * Play a distinct sound when a user joins the SyncUp. * Play another (different) sound when a user leaves the SyncUp. * Optionally, allow users to toggle these sounds on or off in their personal settings. Benefits: * Improves awareness during live collaboration. * Enhances the meeting experience without requiring visual attention. * Makes remote collaboration smoother and more intuitive.

Right now, members can't be added to an existing DM or group DM. To bring someone in, we have to start a new group DM and lose the conversation history/context. Please allow inviting people to existing DMs (optionally with the choice to share past history), similar to adding members to a Channel.

It would be very convenient to contact users from external workspaces using their email. The message could go to a Requests folder, or depending on their privacy settings, they could choose to receive messages from everyone or block external messages entirely.

Please consider if your 'updates' add clicks to user functionality. Also check them to see if they are fully accessible for keyboard users. For my workflow there has been a significant increase in the number of clicks I have to do to complete my statuses and descriptions/notes in tasks. This increases the time I spend doing my job. As the app has evolved, some functionality has become less user friendly and less accessible. Examples follow: Setting Statuses - if I'm a keyboard only user, I can't set a status because the focus skips the option where mouse users click to set the status. - I used to simply hit enter after finding the status I want, now I have to physically use my mouse to select/click it even if there is only one option Using # - I use this symbol often to designate items (i.e. #2). I used to be able to type that and go on with what I want to put after it. Now typing #2 brings up a pop up for chats that I have to dismiss. This adds significantly more clicks to my documentation. (Some people don't want ClickUp's chat feature to appear every time they type a # followed by a number.) Vertical Monitor Display - I used to be able to display the 'task description' and 'activity' sections side by side on my vertical monitor. Now another click has been added and I have to click from one display to the other

When receiving a chat that appears in Inbox, there is a notification in Inbox, the chat hub, and (if set) in the sidebar for chats. It would be great if when I mark it as read in one place (most often Inbox for me), it marks that chat as read everywhere (in hub, sidebar, inbox) all at once.
