Feature Requests

I think it would be very useful to include the ability to pin certain messages in channel chat. This would make them stand out in the chat. This would be useful for messages with chat rules or training videos, for example.

I can't add more people to existing group chat. Is this not a feature?

In ClickUp 4.0, the chat tab no longer has sessions, which makes communication disorganized. It would be great to have an option to organize the chat into sessions created by the workspace owner, so that all users see the chat structured in the same way. Right now, the chat feels messy and lacks hierarchy, making it hard to follow different topics within the same space. This improvement would really help with collaboration and conversation management.

I currently manage a large number of chats associated with project lists that are no longer in use. Although lists and folders can be archived without problem, chats remain active and there is no way to sort them or remove them from view. It would be very useful to have the option of archiving chats or having a specific section for archived chats (so that they remain accessible, but without taking up space in the main workflow). This would help maintain organization and reduce visual noise on a daily basis.

When a calendar is connected, send a 1 min chat reminder to join.

I would like to be able to right click and copy email address not the entire link with mailto:. This would help developers and users quickly copy email addresses without extra formatting.

When I video call someone and I want to navigate to other tasks, I don't see the person anymore. It would be great, as with Google Meets or Zoom, that the window always stays at the front of the screen, no matter where I navigate to

I miss the overview from the previous version where all chats were sorted alphabetically. Is there even a logic in v4? And please bring back the feature to pin channels :/ The v4 seems cool overall but feels like a downgrade to the chat and makes me consider switching back to slack...

The current creating tasks in chat tab doesn't allow me to create subtask, it takes much time for the team members to drag & drop the tasks into another tasks to just make it become a subtask. It's better for me to both select task type and make it a subtask of an available parent task.
