This is a must requirement. Other CRM softwares already have it

Would like to have a conditional mandatory field requirement based on certain custom field selection.

Example, when the item type = Bug, then the field "Occurrence Area" becomes mandatory for input

One can have other software show fields conditionally.

Why is this not yet in process when 200+ people voted for it and its already 2+ years there 🙈

a lot of these things could be easily achieved if automations could read formula fields and write dynamic data to other fields

This would be revolutionary on the database architecture and custom item types clickup is working on.

This will make my workflow very tidy as I can assign custom fields based on my responses to other fields and thus only necessary fields will be filled

Make a field required based on other field value. For example:

Long Distance Job? (Checkbox)

Distance in Miles (Number) - becomes required if the checkbox above is selected.

The new conditional form logic is not good. If you cant have all or at least custom fields, dropdowns, and button selections in an if then else statement, how can you even call this conditions. Highly disappointed.
