Would like to send Email Updates to clients straight from ClickUp or with an integration. As each email sent task check-off.
Is there any update to when this may be ready to be released? We are looking at new software and this would be a must for us.
@Jwali: We are still waiting to hear back from Google :/ Hopefully within the next couple of weeks, but it is hard to say since we thought this review process would have been done 3 months ago 🙂
@Nick: If I remember correctly, you guys have said O365 is ready. Is there a chance you can release Google and O365 support separately? 😅
@Nick: I'd love to know about Outlook as well!
@Zeb, have you seen this app https://www.spikenow.com/?
@Anastasiya Gendelman: very interesting!
We have been told that we are waiting on Google for email implementation. What about Outlook?
Would like to have email templates, and the dream it is be able to set them up to auto-populate with project details and pre-schedule them to match timelines. 📧🔥🌟⏲
I agree, being able to have an email sent to a client when a task is completed or it status changes would be awesome. Any update on the timeframe?
I need it. After that, my Clickup will be a perfect machine!
Anything new with this?
Being able to insert my own html/branded templates (possibly with dynamic content) is going to be the key to making this feature a via able option for us.
@Zeb Would we be able to connect via IMAP/POP? For non-big provider email accounts
@Anastasiya Gendelman: For sure!
Can you explain how the new Outlook email feature will work. I have tried to use the current Outlook plugin and it won't load. It also has some pretty bad reviews.
Will the new feature rely on this our will there be a new plug in or another form of integration?
@John Biggs: This feature will be separate from the Outlook plugin (which we have plans to redo later this year). With this feature you'll be able to connect an Outlook or Gmail account to send and receive emails from within ClickUp!
@John Biggs: I gave up on installing mine, since it wasn't connected to an Exchange account (i think?) I can't get Add-Ins. Which is a bummer, since outlooks interface is way better than Gmail.
@Nick: Sounds good, can't you just go with Outlook for now instead of having the whole thing on hold due to Google?
I am still evaluating this and need to see email work before I fully commit.
@Julie Morris: Sounds like they are aware of this now.
@John Biggs: Good point
@John Biggs: I understand this - I just see the huge uproar among Gmail users, should this happen - and no matter how explicitly they would stated this...
