I'd love to be able to record short messages that I can send to either an individual or a channel (2-3 mins). The ideal method for doing this is by clicking a button in the compose message area.
1) Voice only messages, with a button for the reader to see transcript
2) Video messages, I can record me talking to camera
3) Screenshare messages, I can show something on my screen and talk about it.

It would be great to have voice notes or audio clips in chat. I've mostly convinced my company to move to ClickUp chat from WhatsApp and Slack but they keep reverting back to them for voice notes which they use a lot.

We have the option to record a voice memo in the mobile app, but there isn't an option in the browser/desktop app.

Hey Ciarán,
We already have voice clips across the platform, complete with transcription and AI question support. Attached is a screenshot of this.
Currently, this feature isn't supported on the desktop app, but it is available in web browsers and the mobile app.
Do you see this on your side?

Oops, missed that as I was looking in the desktop app. I can see it in the mobile app and web browser. Sorry for the red herring!

1) is the mic buttons
2) we don't have that yet, will come
3) is the camera icon

Yep, so the voice clips and screen sharing in Chat works well for me. The one missing, but that isn't super important, is a button in chat to record me talking to camera (vs just an audio clip). It's not mission critical though, just a nice to have Brendan W

Video Clips containing your camera is a popular feature request, but not something easily done today within the ClickUp app (as in, without an extension or dedicated installable app).

Now you can use Voice Clips in task comments to quickly record and send audio files to your team. More details can be in the Voice Clips help article.

Ability to share the audio link which can listen from browser. Currently, if I share the link, it downloads automatically.
