Our team loves using Loom because we like to be able to see hand gestures and facial expressions during our screen recordings. We would love a toggle on/off camera button within the screen recordings!

Hello. It has a great impact to receive a clip, with a small circle in a corner with the face of the person who records it. Like Looom.

Yes - you can checkout how Slack and Loom are doing it.
Loom is probably overkill, but just a toggle for Camera on/off would be sufficient.
Otherwise, Slack have a really nice 3,2,1 counter before the recording starts (Loom also have it). Slack have a transcript feature which is nice, but for me it is nice-to-have so far.

Would love to have the option to turn the camera on and off with ClickUp clips. Would make everything so much easier. The features that it has now are great, but majority of the times, having the camera on is a must, especially if we are sending the videos to clients.
