Template Manager

We need a true Template Manager in ClickUp — a centralized place to create, edit, and manage task, list, and folder templates without having to download them as live items first.
Currently, making any update to a template requires creating a real task/list/folder, which triggers unwanted notifications to assignees and creates unnecessary clutter. This also increases the risk of accidental changes and slows down teams who rely heavily on templates.
A dedicated Template Manager (similar to the Custom Fields Manager) would allow users to open and edit templates directly, update assignees safely, and maintain consistent, up-to-date processes across the workspace. This would significantly improve efficiency and template accuracy for many ClickUp users.

Yes yes yes, the amount of time spent editing and creating complex templates that send endless notifications to other team members is astounding! Would love a true template management. This would be a tremendous addition

Fully agree — ClickUp really needs a true Template Manager. Having to spin up live tasks, lists, or folders just to make small template edits creates noise, triggers notifications, and adds unnecessary risk.

Yes, CU needs to add this feature.

Having been a previous Monday.com user, this can be frustrating on the Click Up front. However, I have been pleasantly surprised with the transition to Click Up and believe this will make things that much better!

Just started using ClickUp, and while it's great, I miss having something like this I've used in systems like Asana. Please add! And thank you. 😊

PLEASE - This would be an absolute life salifesaverver. Cannot say how much time I spend doing back work because a template has to be edited or updated.

Couldn't agree more. Cannot believe this in not already a feature inside ClickUp.
