Tags should be clickable/searchable

First, if I click on a tag, it should be clickable. Second, if I click on a tag (within either a task or a sub-task), I should be able to search for all content (i.e. tasks/sub-tasks) by that tag.

We recently added support for indexing tags in the search index.
We haven't exposed it in the UI yet as as discrete filter, but if you type the name of the tag in the Command Center (i.e. the global search experience) we will match the objects that have that tag.
It's a start, and it might help some folks on this thread.
It will be available in the UI as a filter when we update our filtering experience (which is on deck). Making it clickable from other places sounds reasonable too.

We need this otherwise it's getting very difficult for our team to work, half tags means half information :(

Any updates on this please Ivan Kanevski ? Why does this basic functionality take so long to implement?

We need the ability for tags, when assigned to a document, to also have subpages with other tags. Currently, subpages cannot be found via the tag system; only the main page of the document is displayed.
For instance, if I have a document titled "Blog Posts" with several subpages dealing with various blog article topics, I cannot assign tags to these blog articles and search for them specifically. This is essential from our perspective to use the tag system effectively in docs.

We need the option of managing all tags already created, search by tag and filter by tag.

Wow, this seems to have been in progress for forever. I just set up everything with this and apparently it doesn't work as I thought it was supposed to. When is this expected to be in?

Echoing Tim here, tags are not searchable? I've tried searching for both task and doc tabs, but to no avail...
Ivan Kanevski, perhaps it didn't come over with ClickUp 3.0 in the global search (Ctrl + K) functionality or am I doing something wrong? :)
Tim Jasper
Tags are not searchable? Also why are there different tags for docs and tasks?

Ivan Kanevski does this mean I should be able to type a tag's name in the search bar and get back tasks with the tag? If so, it does not work ...

In the search popup I want to add the option to filter via certain tags

The scenario following applies to both tags and rollups ...
I have 4 list under a single folder and one of the 4 (let’s call it list A) is the main list for managing resources. I wanted to use rollups on that list to pull values from the other 3 lists to use in different views. Each view will display different aspects needed to query and manage, and allocate assignments, training, languages spoken, etc. to locate resources that fit and to fill the needs of our partners.
I can add the rollups with no problem but we need to search and/or filter the list based on values contained or displayed in the rollup to narrow our selection down to resources that meet the requirements of the partner opportunity and have the skills needed to be eligible for consideration.
I need it to filter and search in that specific list view in list A. This would allow us to easily identify possible resources in realtime while talking with our partner/client.
I needed my design to deliver this capability in a simple and easy fashion while maintaining a single source of data in the other lists. Seems my only possible solution is to create custom fields in list A which will force the same data to live in multiple lists and that will be a nightmare to keep the data the same in every list. What's the use of tags, relationships, and rollups if the values displayed using them are not searchable or cannot be included in filters.
