Sync data in custom fields across Lists.
Alex Howard
From support ticket:
Is there an automation for when you ‘add new custom field’ to one list, it adds ad syncs that specific field to another list (along with all info inputted into that field, similar to the ‘add to list’ functionality that allows tasks to be synced across 2 lists)

I have run into the need for this in a couple situations now. So for day job, one big point of confusion is model numbers and other product specs used my multiple departments. we'll have the same CF in a variety of lists, tasks & subtasks. But if one department has a meeting and decides to change a spec on a product and updates a CF... what about all those other CFs in other Lists & Tasks. So much for the "Single Source of Truth".
Another slightly different scenario - and I can see other situations being similar; any machine maintenance for example - but in my current case, vehicle oil changes. It would be ideal to create a recurring task contingent on the milage of the car. So as I perform other maintenance & repairs, I enter the current milage. Then when the milage entered becomes a number larger than the specified number, a new oil change task is created.
There may be a way to do this with a dedicated task and a couple formula CFs? Either that or with the https://clickup.canny.io/feature-requests/p/custom-fields-for-list-folder-or-space request. Anyway, would be cool to be able set up those automations.
Or if anyone can think of any other workarounds I'm all ears!

I did a quick search but couldn't find this feature. I'd be really nice if I could syncronize and specific custom field of a task to another task contained inside another list. As an example, whenever a deal is closed, I duplicate it to operations and engineering, which share some of the fields, but not all. The problem is that whenever I change one CF, I need to change across all lists, which causes risks of errors.

This would be super helpful please! We have a really robust content calendar and a lot of the information (themes, seasonal focus, promo codes, % off, etc.) are all the same across many tasks. We often sometimes have to change things like sales/ promotions and changing it across multiple tasks can be very VERY time consuming. However, if we could change it on one custom field in the content calendar folder and it would change across all tasks using that custom field, then that would be a life saver.

Please - why isnt this a thing... Forms are so archaic and manual. I wish we could automate sending of forms to clients to get their information then apply that data throughout a folder and list. e.g. https://feedback.clickup.com/feature-requests/p/clickup-automation-flow
