Rollup enhancements for Relationship
Waleed Elaghil
Rollup other custom fields like dropdown
When creating a rollup, an additional custom field is added by default. The same custom field of children relation is created.. It is kinda annoying.
one to many relationships

Empty Relationship rollups display the infinity icon when in the sum configuration. This needs to be more accurate for clients. The correct number should be 0 or -

Absolutely! +100000 please.

Waleed Elaghil It seems these are same issues (and can be merged)

Viewing the data is helpful but the missing link is to make it available on the related task generally.

+1 for referencing rolled-up values in formulas.
I just spent hours on setup and data entry only to realize I cannot reference the rollup sum in a formula... there goes that project 🤦🏻♂️😳
Rich Manzana
Justin Raine: +1 running into this issue as well :(
Felipe Almeida
Justin Raine: Same for using the rollups (and the formulas) in Dashboards

would be great to be able to edit a value from a rollup field

Pierre Becher: Much Needed - otherwise I'm jumping between tasks to fill them out.

I would like to use information from a rollup as a condition in an automation.
For example: I have a task and I create the relationship to a customer in my CRM space. I also have an automation to trigger a Twilio text to the customer to let them know the changes in status as it moves along. Currently I have to re-enter the phone number for the customer into a new field in the task. This number is already in my CRM - So something like 'Customer Phone Number' = a Relationship/Rollup field. (Or just be able to call a rollup field in an automation)

I would like to be able to add any custom field from the related list to my view. Currently we can only add a rollup field of Number and Money field types. To see other custom fields we have to click on the related item to open the pop up and add the rollup field there. I would like to simply add a column to my list with that related custom field.
Also, I would like the ability to add a custom field to the actual relationship. So for instance...
I have a list of Items
I have a list of Rooms
I want to relate an Item to a Room and designate the quantity of the item for that particular room.
This way I can look at my Room task and see how many items are allocated for that room. I can also look at my Item task and look at which rooms the item will be placed in and how many items per room. Then give a total number of items needed across all rooms.

Siobhan Wheelan: Wonderful Idea - Much Needed!
