Required / Mandatory Fields to close a task, including Comments

We have some good discussion right now around the new "required fields" feature. Thanks to ClickUp for this!
@Waleed created a new follow-on for Default Fields, not Custom Fields:
There is a lot of sentiment for the same when closing a task, so I wanted to create this request for that need as I didn't see it elsewhere in the Forum.
I would also like to have the ability to require a "comment" when closing a task. This helps with software engineering and brings the "resolution" feature of Jira, very popular, to ClickUp. When this is turned on, a window will pop up asking for a comment around "what happened to close the task." It's very similar to the "Incomplete Warning" message.

Additional Scenarios:
- Allow required fields to be set at list, folder and space level.
- Allow required fields to be set by task type. For example, If a task type is "Bug", I'd like to make "Priority" Required. OR I could set it at the list level where all bugs live.

Yes please please we must have an option of required fields only when moving to specific status versus required fields for creating a task.

As at now, we've created a custom field called "Resolution" - with the following values as per snip.
Some teams create Status = "Won't Do" for example, which is not the way to go.
The "Resolution" feature of JIRA is complicated, in the sense you have to add the behaviour to mandate applying it to a workflow, too complex.
ClickUp can do this in a simple, intuitive way.
Just give us the ability to add mandatory fields based on Status, with the option to clear those fields if the task is moved back to Status "before" the current status.
eg. Status = "Done" then mandatory fields: Comment, Resolution, Date Closed etc.
If move back to "In Progress" then clear.

It would be important to be able to set mandatory fields based on status. Not just when closing. For example, once the status moves to in progress, custom field A needs to be required.

Yes please! we need that functionality!, take a very long time return to all task with fields empty we need fill when closed/finalice the task

We badly need this - we have many tasks that move through various stages moving from one list to the another and at each stage there is info that needs to be aded before it moves on and seeing that we are dealing with busy humans, they tend to foget to add the required info. Really need to have the task refuse to budge until the required fields are filled.

It's crucial that this is added for data integrity when teams are moving fast. Even for a makeshift CRM, this is crucial.
