Remap due dates when applying a Template via Automation

We use a form to create new tasks and when it is created an automation applies a specific template depending on answers from the form.
But, the automation does not remap the start or due date of the template. It just apply a template and changes the original task to the template's dates.

Hey everyone, thanks for the votes and feedback here! We wanted to share a quick update on what's on our radar.
We're currently working on this request first: https://feedback.clickup.com/feature-requests/p/new-action-apply-list-folder-space-template — the ability to apply a List template as an Automation action. Once that's in place, we believe a lot of the groundwork we lay there could help us tackle this request too, since remapping due dates when applying a template via Automation is closely related.
No confirmed dates or timelines to share just yet, but we wanted to be transparent about where our heads are and the order we're thinking through things. We appreciate your patience and will keep you posted!

[From Support Ticket] While there is a feature to remap due dates from a template, I would like the ability to remap due dates using an automation.
I am currently using Zapier to create tasks and they have due dates. However, when the task come in I would like for the dates to be remapped.
For example the automation may be, when a task is created, remap due dates, and then I can select which date I want it all to remap to.

Currently, when you want to remap a template of a task, you are forced to pick an exact date. I want to usually remap subtasks according to the task due date, so it will be nice to have this as an option. Now I have to remember the task due date and fill it manually.

Luděk I want to clarify your use case further. Are you applying a task template to an existing task in List view? Does that task already have a task due date and so you want to remap subtasks based on the current task's due date?

+1 for this. We apply a TON of templates via automation and having to manually set due dates after automations is incredibly time consuming. We might be losing more time managing due dates than we're saving with the automations.

Currently, the remapping of the subtask dates when applying a template is only available when you manually apply a template. I would like to apply a template through automation, change the due date based on a custom field in the task, and then remap the due dates of all the subtasks. Just like when you change a due date, it asks you if you want to remap the fields. Can this be added as a step to the automation?
Or can we create templates that have a relative due date for subtasks instead of a fixed date? Like 2 weeks before the due date or 3 days after the due date.
