Quick task entry
Neil Hart
Another thing I find really useful in Asana is the ability to very quickly enter tasks (with no detail).
For instance:
- In a list of tasks (or subtasks), and with the cursor on any task line, I can simply hit return which creates a new line = an empty/untitled task which I then name/describe (e.g. 'Make a coffee'). This is then immediately a task which I can flesh out later
- In either of the above locations, I can also copy/paste a list of tasks of any length from plain text directly into Asana in the same way
NOTE: any tasks created by me are assigned to me by default and live in my 'New tasks' area clearly waiting to be dealt with (e.g. assigned to a project, set due date, add notes or subtasks etc)
Again, hope that makes sense and keen to know your thoughts.
Thanks.

I agree...it is the only reason I use TickTick at the moment for quick adds

This would be awesome for brain dumping. I miss this from Asana.

Since seen this is possible, but only at the bottom of list. If anything, should also be at the top of lists.

Yes a big plus in todoist is when a task comes to mind I can log in the inbox for review later a quick input to an inbox would capture the task quickly
