[4/7] - Prototype Testing: We Need Your Help!
Hey everyone! Quick update - we've made additional progress since our last check-in. We now have a refined prototype of nested conditional logic and want to get it in front of real users before we finalize the experience.
We're looking for volunteers to spend a bit of time clicking through the prototype and answering a few quick questions about the design. Your feedback will directly shape what we ship.

As always, thank you for your patience and for sticking with us; you're a huge part of shaping what we build.

Would be great to add in information blocks within the conditional logic. Right now, you can only add in fields and sometimes additional information/instructions would be helpful.
We use some custom fields across lists so the type of submission informs what type of information you put in an open text field.

Tried to Access this "https://clickup-edwin-delgado-form-builder.vercel.app/" but I can't click anything, the interaction does not work.

Conditional Logic in forms
Lesford “LJ” McKenzie
We need this to allow us to be able to customize a form. Example 1. if a client answers question A as Yes then question B will show up If they Answer No either nothing shows up or maybe question C. Example 2. Are Your A Prospect, New, Current, or Old Client of WDI depending on their selection a whole different set of questions can be triggered.
you guys say this was completed here but it has not been atleast not in the way the original post explains it "https://feedback.clickup.com/feature-requests/p/conditional-logic-for-forms"

No nested logic in forms
Mary Dann
I’d love to see support for nested conditional logic in Forms. Right now, I can only show fields based on one parent response, but I need to trigger follow-up fields (like dropdowns or attachments) based on answers to previously revealed fields. This limitation makes it hard to build layered workflows.
EXAMPLE:
Field 1:
Dropdown – “Do you need feedback?” Options: Yes / No → Logic: If “Yes” → show Field 2
Field 2:
Dropdown – “Type of feedback?” Options: Strategic / Creative / Technical → Desired Logic: If “Strategic” → show Field 3
Field 3:
Attachment – “Upload supporting documents” → Problem: You cannot trigger Field 3 based on Field 2, because Field 2 is already conditionally shown by Field 1.
LIMITATION:
ClickUp only allows conditional logic based on top-level fields. You can’t nest logic like:
Field 1 → Field 2 → Field 3
Instead, you can only do:
Field 1 → Field 2 Field 1 → Field 3
Even if Field 2 is visible, Field 3 can’t be triggered by it unless Field 2 is always visible.

Max Weiten Is there a way for us to preview the form? (right now, most fields are locked down / no buttons clickable / questions aren't movable / etc. )
Danielle Little
Domien De Clercq Agreed. Having the ability to preview the functionality from the end user’s perspective would be an effective way to ensure the experience is clear and intuitive.

Max Weiten are we supposed to be able to interact with the form? It isn't working right now.
Clemence Wiart
Max Weiten Same here, doesn't look like I can interact with any field except the last one? And even that is limited. Was that intentional?
Andres Ruiz
Max Weiten is there a soft launch of when we can expect the changes to go live?
Louis Coe
Max Weiten As with the other comments, looks good but very limited as to what we can test/click around on that demo! :)

I'd like to raise your attention to the need for nested conditional logic in forms. It would enable us to create way more advanced and dynamic ones. Currently, conditional logic allows for basic dependencies between fields, but it is not possible to create more complex, hierarchical logic structures where conditions depend on previous conditional outcomes.

[3/19] - Nested Logic Check-In
Hey everyone! Wanted to give you a quick update on nested logic. The team is actively working through development and user testing. While we don't have a beta date to share just yet, we're getting closer.
I know it's been a while and many of you have been waiting for this; I really appreciate your patience. This is a top priority for us, and we're committed to getting it right before release.
I'll keep updating this thread as we hit key milestones. Thanks for all the feedback and for sticking with us!
