Filter by Task Name

Since we're using some kind of naming convention, we'd like to report on specific tasks using dashboard widgets. We could do so by using tags or labels, however, that would mean additional manual work. Therefore my suggestion would be to include the possibility to filter by task names in dashboard widgets.
Simple example:
Filter by task that include "review" in their name. Using a calculation widget we could then sum the time estimated as well as the time tracked for those tasks.

Agreed that this is a basic function that should be simple to implement as I can filter by every other field, including custom ones.

Hey Clickup, sorry but this is a common sense option we're asking for here! We know Dev is busy but we've been asking for this since 2020. In the meantime, thanks for the "search" tool workaround.

Absolutely. I've had to add a new field and click a thousand times when a simple word filter would solve it!!!

I completely agree. For general purposes also, we need to filter tasks with names. So that we can see all recurrences of any task or tasks having some common words that can be viewed all in one place.

Task name should be implemented as filter. In doing so we'll be able to use it together with the rest of the filters or when the title matches multiple conditions (e.g. All tasks with task name A OR/AND B). The input box is not sufficient for these cases and setting up tags and custom might not be possible all the time

I'm new to this software and I can't believe I can't filter by task name. We have a lot of clients and we use a template to set up their task lists so there are a lot of tasks with the same name. We usually do a lot of those tasks at the same time so being able to see all the tasks with the same name at the same time.

Damian Walls: I agree. Shocked at some of the basics that are missing. But trying to be patient with ALL the workarounds.
