I have a dropdown field and a text field. I need to dynamically add the value from the text field to the dropdown field as an option. Is there a way to achieve this?

Would like to add to this additional nuance:
Allow Super Agents / AI agents to add new options to existing Dropdown custom fields programmatically, so teams can build self-service workflows (e.g. adding new project codes) without manual admin intervention.

This is vitally important for us. Airtable allows us to do this via Zapier or other types of automations.
We use this for tracking Marketing data. We definitely need this!

This would be helpful for us for example when a task is created and a custom value is populated with " X " data, then this value could be added to a custom field drop down list. Alternatively, if we could apply a "template" to a custom field drop down that would point it to a column of a table view in a specific list and it auto generates all current values in that column as drop down items.
