Deeper difference between contrasts. Brighter colors/whites on dark screen and darker colors and blacks on white screen.

It's VERY good now
It took me a few days to get used to it
and then I saw that the older dark mode was not optimal
THanks!

is there a way we can have both light dark mode ( previous version and new )
Love using dark mode but using straight black makes it hard to use. For those to like it have an option under theme.

The new dark theme looks overly dark on our monitors, with grey headers being particularly difficult to read. We see this change as a drawback rather than an improvement, especially since we had no issues with the previous version, which was much better for us. While we understand preferences vary depending on monitors, having optional themes or the ability to revert would be appreciated.

Zach - ClickUp I like the contrast improvements of borders, colors etc. But the "super dark dark mode" doesn't do it for me. It's okay, but it goes too far into the dark. For everyone not using intensely bright screens, it's almost indistinguishable. Fun Fact: Clickup 2.X dark mode was best so far

Jannik Mewes Deni Smailbegovic Stephen Karpathakis thank you for the feedback! Can you please upvote this feature request: https://feedback.clickup.com/feature-requests/p/dark-mode-is-now-too-dark as we'll be addressing concerns there.

Zach - ClickUp Done! After a few days of use, I have to add to that:
All tag background colors are now limited to 20% opacity which again reduces contrast and visibility.
Things like highlighting certain tasks using a glowingly red tag has become impossible.
Reduced color opacity should become an option, or maybe the tag color selector could become RGBA.

I would like the make the dark theme darker. I like the darkness of the dark blue in the background. That is the color the task card background is.

Current version of Dark Mode burns my eyes. By using on 32" XDR Display when I move eyes between apps to ClickUp I see a blur for a second and it takes a significant amount of energy to focus on task or anything I need to read.
Previous less darker Dark Mode was perfect, easy to read and also cute.
I vote for bring it back or get an option to reduce current high contrast of new Dark Mode.

Just took me minutes to find "transfer ownership", despite having email support and the help page.
Mostly because the "transfer ownership of Workspace" text is low contrast, overshadowed by the bright red and generally blends in easily.

I'm going to add to this -- in 3.0 there is a limited number of colors for List and Folder Colors. We should have the option to pick from unlimited Hex colors as we do in Statuses. We should have the option to puck from Unlimited Hex colors ANY TIME we are able to edit/choose colors.
1) It creates additional Color Coding, which is extremely important for creating systems and better organization (and something our team relied on). Things shouldn't be limited to the same shades of green or pink.
2) Using a limited number of colors creates confusion when viewing Gantt charts
3) Allowing color customization creates a better experience for visually impaired people (or anyone) who would like brighter, more vivid colors when using DARK Mode and/or to create more contrast.
4) Can better set priorities (For example, pure black can be used for folders that are dedicated to information, while GRAY can be used to identify folders related to more administrative or repetitive tasks.
**** We're really disappointed with this shift to limited colors. One of the biggest reasons we chose ClickUp was the ability to customize it to our specific needs -- especially color.

Yes! I like dark mode, but don't like the muted coloring - seems a bit outdated and not a theme I'd choose in other products. I'd like to have the option to choose between some dark mode themes like I can in modern IDEs such as Atom, etc. The avatar colors in dark mode for spaces aren't very pleasing, and I'd like the option to have better coloring/less muted colors so that my spaces stand out more and I can navigate to them with a blink of the eye due to the color scheme I've chosen.

Could it be that you have reduced the contrast in the views even further in recent months? What is the point of putting a white table block in the list view or the white cards in the board view on a background with #FAFBFC?????? This is how you drive users into high-contrast mode, which should not really be the norm (and which has not become any nicer with the outlines). And if there are actually users who find this MODERN, then please let the users set the background colour themselves in the settings - and the dispute will end.

I love the design of ClickUp so far, but some of our team has difficulty reading the "grayed out" text and buttons. I'd love to see an option to address this accessibility issue.
