Agree! I'm leaving the same comment on all similar requests to get this bumped up to production!
I just submitted the same request yesterday. This isn't the same feature that you have available, as there isn't an option to select a business day based on "date."
Original reply to this post: https://feedback.clickup.com/feature-requests/p/weekday-recurring-tasks
Support added my feature request on 8/10/2023 and linked me to this one to vote: https://clickup.canny.io/feature-requests/p/relative-dates-in-recurring-tasks
My notes:
Example using the 2nd workday (or business day) of the month:
• Every 2nd workday, we want a task to recur.
• This is the 2nd actual business day of the month (NOT the 2nd of the month (date) or a day option).
o For July 2023, the 2nd business day would be 7/4/2023 (because the 1st and 2nd are Saturday and Sunday, then the 3rd is a Monday, which would be the 1st business day).
o For August 2023, the 2nd business day would be 8/2/2023.
o For September 2023, the 2nd business day would be 9/4/2023 (because the 2nd and 3rd are Saturday and Sunday, then the 4th is a Monday, which would be the 2nd business day).
Please see my screenshot below for a calendar example of workdays/business days of the month.

Accounting needs this!!

I would still really like to see this; also in accounting, we do a lot of tasks by -3 business days to month-end, +2 days after month end, etc.

Bump - this would be very useful for those of us using ClickUp for Accounting. As it stands we currently use calendar day recurrences and constantly review/change the results to work properly with business days.

Allow to set reminders to the next business day

When setting a reminder to a specific day allow an option to set it to the "next business day" which means that if the specific date will fall on a weekend the reminder will be set to the following Monday or Sunday.
Please also allow us to select if our week is form Monday to Friday or Sunday to Thursday etc.
Example: Consider setting an alarm for the first of every month. Nov 1st 2019 is on Friday which is not a work day for us. In this case the reminder will pop on Nov 3rd 19 which is the first Sunday AFTER the reminder date

Yes, for accounting, it would be awesome to put down all our tasks by day of month. Right now, my accounting team does not use clickup because they operate by business day of month

Would be a great option for recurring tasks, as right now some of my tasks' due dates recur on weekends. There can also be a setting where we can add holiday dates, to cater to users of all countries.
