Manage Automations across the entire Workspace from a single place

ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION
A single place to manage Automations. Browse existing, Create custom, Apply to single and multiple lists, folders and spaces from one place & manage usage.
I have 1 automation that I want to apply to roughly 20 lists, this is a real pain at the moment.

Description created by ClickUp after a survey
Users are requesting a centralized location to manage and view all automation throughout their workspace with a large focus on applying a single automation to numerous different locations.
They want to be able to view automations from different spaces, lists, and folders in one place, and to organize and group them based on their triggers or outputs.
Additionally, users want the ability to create, edit, duplicate, and remove automations from a single location, apply automations to multiple locations, and track the history and analytics of each automation.

Hey everyone,
Currently, we are focused on introducing other automation feature requests to enhance your workflows. However, we have not forgotten about this ask. We are currently in the midst of redesigning the automations experience and we'll be reaching out to y'all on this post as we get closer to refined designs. So, no engineering update here yet but it's on our mind.
We’ll share updates here as things progress.

Apply Automations to All Lists in Workspace
Frederico Paula
Hi ClickUp Team,
I’d like to suggest a feature that would allow users to apply the same automation to all lists in a workspace at once, instead of having to set up the automation individually for each list. This would save a lot of time and ensure consistency across projects, especially for organizations managing many lists.
Ideally, this feature would let us select an automation and bulk-apply it to all existing lists, or even set it as a default for any new lists created in the workspace. It would be great if this could also work at the Folder or Space level, cascading down to all contained lists.
Thank you for considering this improvement!

This is already something we're working on! I'm going to merge your post into the main workspace automation management request since they're the same thing: https://feedback.clickup.com/admin/board/feature-requests/p/manage-automations-across-the-entire-workspace-from-a-single-place
Your votes will transfer over and you'll get updates there. The folder/space cascade you mentioned is exactly what that one covers!

Workspace-wide Automation List + Bulk Management View
Robinson
Hi ClickUp Team,
I’m reaching out with a feature request related to Automations management at the workspace level.
Right now, it’s difficult to audit and maintain automations because they’re spread across Spaces/Folders/Lists. We’d like to request either (or both) of the following:
1. Workspace-wide Automation List (Inventory)
• A single view/page that shows all automations created across the entire workspace
• Including key fields like: location (Space/Folder/List), status (on/off), trigger/action, owner/creator, last edited date, and any dependencies
2. Bulk / Mass Update Automation Management
• The ability to mass update automations in one view, such as:
• Enable/disable multiple automations
• Bulk edit values (assignee, statuses, custom fields, templates, dates, etc.)
• Search/filter/sort by location, creator, trigger type, action type, and active/inactive
This would massively improve governance, troubleshooting, and cleanup—especially for larger workspaces where automations grow quickly over time.
If there’s already an existing workaround, feature flag, or roadmap item for this, we’d appreciate any guidance or updates.
Thanks in advance,
Robinson Igot

Thanks for sharing this, Robinson! Merging this with the larger post we have.

The ability to group automations of have a folder for them by category would also be amazing!

Bulk apply automations to multiple lists/folders/spaces
Jackson James
It’s quite frustrating having to go through the automation creation process for every list/folder/space that needs it.
Please add a global automations option which has a dropdown showing all spaces, folders, and lists with checkboxes next to them.
Users can then scrub the list and simply select all the areas that automation should be applied.

Both hands up! That's the cool feature.

Hi Everyone,
Before there is a central place for automations, it can be useful to add a search bar for automations even within one list. Given that there is no conditional logic in the automations, in some processes you can have (at least we do) up to a 100 different flows and the only way to manage them is by name, which is doable, but would be much easier if you could search for a specific automation by name.

Max E: Yes, great suggestion and one we're aware of! Thank you

This would be an efficient way to manage and apply automations and would help a lot! Instead of duplicating the same thing to multiple lists or locations (which is a management nightmare) it would be awesome if they could be managed and applied from one location.

Joseph Plaizier: Agreed. Additionally, we should also reduce the need to make as many automations. If we can introduce branching logic, it would also minimize the need for tens or hundreds of automations.
Mark Hoffman
Should be able to sort automations and create views with columns you want to see and things of that nature. Currently automations are impossible to manage if you have a lot of them.

Mark Hoffman: Yep, I hear you and agree with you. Will make sure this is handled in a future version
