Allow Sub Task Filtering When "Expanded"

Desirae Seals
The inability to filter subtasks when set to "Expand All" is really frustrating. Setting subtasks to "show separately" from the parent task is the only way to do this which destroys any form of organization I was originally trying to achieve.
The ability to show/not show certain subtasks based on filtering is a basic function that is critical for various systems and processes to work properly for both businesses and individuals. 10000000% needed.
After reviewing Future Requests related to this issue, it's something the community has been asking for since 2019 (Going on THREE YEARS). Seems like a fairly simple yet effective feature that would eliminate a lot of frustration for many of us.

By the way, the main request for this is here - https://feedback.clickup.com/feature-requests/p/show-subtasks-when-filters-are-applied-and-subtasks-arent-set-to-as-separate-tas

Also, I would like to be able to see Subtasks that DO match the filter, where the parent Task DOES NOT, and to see them automatically show as a separate task.
E.g., Task 1 does not match the filter, but Subtask 1A does. Subtask 1A would display as a separate Task with the subtask icon, even though the List view is set to show subtasks collapses/expanded (not separately). But Task 1 would not show.
This would mean Subtasks are not missed when they DO match the filter but their parent Task does not, and would allow you to keep things neat by using Expand/Collapse mode instead of "Show as separate tasks".

ClickUp Admin, is there a way to find related requests to merge in those votes?

This is very annoying and we have to always find workarounds! Sub task filtering would solve so many issues with organization and understanding of our project plans.

Without this feature, it is not possible for us to collect sprint goals in parent groups/epics so we need to have different list views to show different levels instead of a single view. Please resolve asap

Just to add to this request:
Ideally it's an option to select when using the filter. Something like "Should this filter apply to sub tasks too? Y/N"
Currently, we can't use ClickUp for OKRs because there is no easy or elegant way to display a single department's subtasks that make up the initiatives to achieve a KR.

John Bowman: Great suggestion!
I am blown away there are only 35 votes for this. Click up has a great view creation but it's all destroyed when I have to show subtasks separately in order to filter out "done" tasks.
Click-up is Amazing, I love it for so many reasons. And, this is a MUST have feature, please!
