Every chat channel should have an email address for forwarding emails to it automatically. One of my use cases on Slack is an OTP channel which receives forwarded emails with OTP codes. Need to have a way to replicate this in ClickUp Chat.

Hey, everyone! We're excited to share that you can now send/forward emails to a unique email address to have it appear inside your Channels!
Just right-click a Channel in your sidebar or access it from the settings - each email address is unique to the user who generates it, and possibilities for email automations here are endless!

It would be absolutely killer if the Chat rooms had and email address that I could send emails to and it would post in the chat, similar to what's possible in tasks.
The more senior members in the company still use email a lot, especially shared mailboxes getting used like a chat. If I could program the mailboxes to forward the emails to a Chatroom I'd have much more success converting the Team to this Platform.
Also given that you already implemented that for the comment section of Tasks I figure it wouldn't be very hard to implement the same feature for Chats. Right now I'm having to use Tasks as Chatrooms to get this effect but it's not the cleanest experience in all honesty.
That's my two cents and hope my idea can be helpful to others as well!

Currently, ClickUp only offers the ability to send emails directly to tasks. Could you please introduce a feature to send emails to ClickUp chat channels, as this would enhance productivity for users?

This is the only feature keeping us from moving completely from Slack to CU chat. We have a unique email address for each slack channel (client channel for our agency) that we cc on all client emails so everyone working on that client can see all email comms.

Brendan W Thats great, thank you! Have been waiting for that. I see that the whole mail text is just posted withour formatting. Would it be possible to just show an small expandable preview of the mail that can be opened with proper html formating?

Brendan W I could not forward as the verification email code from gmail isnt reaching the channel and hence I can't add the forwarding

- allow to embed channel in any web using channel id as parameter (including capacity to write messages)
- allow tools like zapier, make to automate messaging to channels (without using api)
(We'd love to leave slack to use clickup channels when having all the functionalities)

Be able to send chat as an email just like we can with the task comments. Receive replies in thread. Then any email related to a task can live in CU.
Example workfow: Automation to send canned email to clients, chat with team about client reply, any team member can reply to client in CU, client receives email reply.
Email is already built in tasks, so I'm hoping it's not too hard to show in #chat? I am addicted to the new #chat experience and I want all my communication there... :)

It is annoying the fact that you seems to be ignoring user request. Send email to a channel or have a Incoming Webhook is a high demand feature and I see that Clickup team is ignoring by not providing it.
